  • Goodie... the welcome wagon is here

And now to receive my warm welcome, I suppose.

    Alias: Kaze (wind)
    Age: Yes
    Gender: Male
    Religion: None/Atheist
Interests: Budo, surfing the internet, debating, reading, programming, researching law, listening to music, eating cheese (meh, it's good), writing
Dislikes: Illiterate fools, one who can not support an argument in a rational and coherent fashion, socializing, France (language, culture, geography, climate, etc.), and little emo bigots

So, that's a little bit about me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am off to be stoned by this nice little mob of True Christians. But, seriously, good to be here, I've got the utmost respect for the system you all have set up here.

Now that I think about it, 95% of everything I've ever programmed could be used, in one way or another, to help Jesus. Haha! I've found a shortcut on the road to Salvation.

So you like eating cheese, but dislike cheese-eating surrender monkeys? Interesting, but I suppose the heart of an atheist must be full of contradictions.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

One could say that seeing as How the game searys(sp) Devil may Cry is an interpretation of the Poem "Dante's Inferno" and mostly non religious people play it because you play as the son of a Demon and a human of which the demon sealed the way to the Human realm and sacrificing himself for love and Realy Religious people say it gose agenst god... but the story of Sparda is kind of Romantic when you think about it...

it would take to much time to explane but if you want to look for the book its actual title is "The Divine Comedy" its vary good from what ive heard and it tells the story of Dante as he travels thrugh hell to Pergatory and finaly to paradise

Rather a contradictory statement there, wouldn't you say? "Atheist" implies the direct expressed lack of belief in any deity or power, including all forms of worship and yet you claim that I worship monkeys.

Eh, I won't argue with it--I'll often play both sides of a debate.

                      Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

And to revise my previous statement of religious affiliation, I suppose that I ought be considered more of a secular humanist (nonthiest, non-religious humanism) than strictly atheist. Yup... so... just throwing that out there.

When all we want is a quiet little piece of the internets (a series of tubes) where we can get together and worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; the way he wants to be worshipped, but instead we get morons like the jabba masha, and other people asking stupid questions.

The Lord can help you with that, provided you have some hogs nearby:

                              Mark 5:2
2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit.... neither could any man tame him.

6But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

7And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

8For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
9And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

10And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. 11Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. 12And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand and were choked in the sea.
