An expression of contrition is an apology. But I'd rather know you've apologized to Jesus for not having welcomed Him into your life yet than to me for your presumptive remarks.

Mr. Hutchins' explanation is as good as it gets. He is a man whose words you would do well to heed and whose example you should aspire to follow.

      Re: Hello

Mr. Hutchins if what you say is correct perhaps I should have the best of both worlds. Have fun and do what I want now and then once I get older, say 50 or so, reach out to God. This way I can enjoy my life and go to Heaven. May be a bit of a gamble but this sounds like the best plan. What do you think?

You really think a lot of yourself, boy. You should try some humble pie. You might like what you find.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Oh, a gambler, huh? You don't think God would see that you're being disingenuous when you "reach out" after having lived your life acting hatefully toward Him? So at what point in life would you throw the switch from being purely hedonistic to being pious? Have you targeted a specific birthday. You know the price for miscalculating your lifespan, right?

If someone's taking bets on what your destiny will be, I want in. BIG!

I wouldn't necessarily sin on purpose. I'm basically a good person so the sins would be minimal. I was just told that when you become saved does not matter so how does waiting make it "disingenuous". Just because I realized it now and do not get to it until later does not make it any more genuine than doing it now. Besides, didn't you pretty much do the same thing by becoming saved so late in life? Why would it be okay for you to go to Heaven and not me? I don't get it...

I am fortunate that I found my way BEFORE dying. I hope you are as fortunate. Do you ever watch the news? Death sometimes comes calling before you are prepared, huh?

You seem to equate living without Jesus with being happy. Do you think Christians aren't happy? Do you think you wouldn't be happy in Jesus' warm embrace?

True, a gamble but statistics are on my side.

Your soul may be happy with this assurance but many here appear quite aggressive and frightened of their own beliefs on the surface. This does not seem like a happy state of being, more stressful and tiring. You mean to tell me that none of the following have ever made you happy: Being with a women, eating pork, loving your family for what they are, etc.

No, you will fail. Either you repent or you do not. If you think "I'll wait till I am old than do it" God will see that as the same as a deathbed repenting and boot you straight to hell. Personally, If I had any say, I'd send you packing now.

Actually 95% of people live to the age of 50 currently, something that cannot be denied.

Grass is green, cannot be denied either and is pointless as well.

Please pay attention to what James Hutchins just told you. It could prevent your eternal damnation.

Why would you say I would fail by doing it at an older age but others can do it at an older age and that is okay, such as Mr. Aziraphale? Why would God see this as a deathbed repent if I am sincere? You are putting a time limit on being saved but you said earlier that is not the case. I am not really understanding.

There is a difference between being a sinner and at some point finding Jesus Christ, and actively plotting to deceive God. Don't you think someone who is capable of creating Heaven and earth is capable of reading this posting? God knows you are trying to trick Him and I assure you that you will fail at that. So either you truly choose the right path or you will burn in hell for all eternity .

And just to show how far people should go to avoid going to hell:

Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched"

I would be finding Jesus Christ at some point. I have not found him yet or know anything about him so there would be no deception nor am I trying to deceive. I am just trying to make sure there is not limitation on when I would be allowed to repent and be welcomed to heaven. In lieu of a few discrepancies it sounds like you explanations indicate that I can become saved any time and still go to Heaven.

I do believe people should avoid Hell.
