    hello there!

I'm 27, married, not a True Christian but am totally and completely amazed at this forum. I had to join! I've been looking over past posts for over an hour now (it's my day off!) so I've been killing time.

    I have a ton of questions...like why is pie a big deal? Cooking/cleaning I understand...but why pie?

I'm looking forward to meeting you all..and reading your posts!

How many sons do you have? What church do you attend?

It is good of you to admit that son. Are you working yet on fixing that?

Why not? Don't you like a freshly baked all American pie?

To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

I have two daughters. I am their mother

As for church, we just relocated to a new state and have yet to find a church...as we will again be relocating in the next couple of months, thanks to our career choices.

I appreciate your warning about the posters here...I've seen many that are "flamers" I believe is the term?

I am a woman ( I suppose I should have mentioned that in my first post?) and yes, my Husband knows I'm here

As for my favorite bible passage..I don't just have one..most recently though Proverbs 31 has had my heart

            You have my condolences

Maybe next time you'll give Jesus a son?

              LoL maybe so!

So, let me ask everyone....is there a physical church somewhere?

...and while I believe in submitting to my Husband....what about "submit to one another in reverence of Christ"?

If you are driving in a car and see a Baptist church is it real?
Yes we are a real church, Located in Freehold IA. I try and attend twice a month. Its a long drive from NYC, but Jesus is worth it!

We all must submit to Jesus. He is our Lord and Savior! Praise Jesus.

I do not live in Landover yet. Ever since the Madoff scandal, my retirement money took a big hit. But I have found a lucrative sideline business now that cigarette taxes have gone through the roof. Needless to say, maybe by this summer, we will begin to look for a place there, if we pass the entrance requirements.

I have been to five different Churches in Landover, all of them magnificent tribute to God. I know there are many more that I hope to visit in time.
I know there are some on the south side of town in the warehouse district and sewage treatment facility, near where the help live. I doubt I'll be visiting those though.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
