In response to the daughter being raped and parents wanting her to marry the rapist, tell me, does an 8 year old deserve to be raped and forced into a marriage with a man while that man goes unpunished??? I THINK NOT!!
Does a 4 year old girl deserve to be raped by her father? Somebody said that anybody who is raped is a SLUT and a WHORE.... does being raped at such an early age make them a slut or a whore?? I THINK NOT!!!! Go ahead and tell me that I'm a slut and whore for being raped by my father when I was 4 years old because if you honestly believe that then you guys are the worst scum on Earth!
By the way, for you "True Christians" that say Wiccans worship the Devil..... Telling Wiccans that they believe in Satan is like telling Atheists they believe in God!!!!!
We worship the earth, the air, the fire, the water, and the spirit. We have many different Gods and Goddesses that we believe in.
You condemn us and yet you celebrate many holidays that originally belonged to Pagans!
Halloween, Samhain- Nordic festival celebrating spirits and the dead
Easter, Ostara- festival for Eostre, Goddess of spring, hence the rabbit and chick symbol
Christmas, Yule- holiday originated from Saturnalia, a Pagan feast
May Day, Beltane
Groundhog Day, Imbolc
Valentine's day, Candlemas- not in the bible, definitely pagan
Its ironic though, thinking of this... that most Christians turn their nose up in superiority at Paganism. Yet, when asked, most don't know that their holidays come from Paganism and that we don't judge people.
Most of the traditions Christianity has is from Paganism. But that's unavoidable... Paganism was part of the entire culture, everything in society was "Pagan". Pagan/Heathen means Gentile in a Biblical sense. The stories given have Pagan written all over them. A lot of that was so that Christianity (which was a new religion) would be accepted among the majority of that time.
Not much about Christianity is original, except for the idea of a jealous God. The idea of Jesus (a demi-god dying for the salvation of humanity) is seen in the Pagan Gods such as Mithra, Odin and Ra. Even the story of Noah was taken from the Pagan demi-god, Gilgamesh.
I now direct you to a letter from a good friend of mine who is a True Christian....
"I understand your bitterment about that. But the general Christian consensus view, as well as mine, believes that as long as it doesn't give glory to Satan or dilute your love for God, then it's ok.
A real Christian is supposed to be filled with love, forgiveness, and respect, so if you have ANY "Christian" coming up to you saying that they are "holier" than you or that other religions are evil, haha then they are definitely NOT Biblical Christians. They are judgmental, close-minded, hypocritical people. The Bible actually says to not be judgmental, to open your mind to all possibilities, and to love your fellow man more than yourself.
These kind of people are destroying the message of real Christianity, and I sincerely apologize if any Christian has wronged you in a way such as that."
By the way, I noticed somewhere that somebody said that Pagans are uncomfortable in churches (or something along those lines).... I have no problem being in church. I was raised Catholic and attended Baptist (My grandparents were Baptist) church too. Back in August, a friend of mine passed away from an 11 year battle with brain tumors, he was Baptist and his family are Baptist.... despite being upset over his passing away, I still felt comfortable and comforted in the church... I even took off my pentacle necklace in respect to his family and the church.
