To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell! James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
I can't tell you how many girls your age go through the same phase you're going through and in much the same way. They want to become Christians, they think they want to invite Jesus inside, but they start to rebel when they can't understand the things Jesus expects of them. It's so perfectly natural because little girls like you, who have not yet read their 1611 King James Bible, cannot possibly understand God's loving plans for them. Jesus wants you to be fulfilled, He wants you to be happy in your service to Him and to your husband, and most importantly, He wants you to at least have a chance at Eternal Salvation.
I can't stress enough how important Bible study will be for you in your coming "formative" years. Have you considered Bible study with a pastor? Our own Reverend Jim Osborne is especially sympathetic to the plight of young lasses like yourself and he has been a selfless and tireless soldier fighting to save the souls of so many just like you. I'll have him contact you to make arrangements for you to finally begin your journey to the warm embrace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
