This country just ain't what I remember it being. It's under siege from the foreigners, the blacks, the fags and all sorts of other Christ Haters. I'm just glad a place like this exists for Real Americans to congregate. I love my country and I fear for it, but knowing I'm not alone in this gives me some hope.

I'm just a good old fashioned Southern Baptist, born and raised and have seen His light. I know being a white male Real American ain't too popular these days, but I ain't changing just because most of my country is going to Hell.

Re: Hello fellow Real Americans.
Well, we aren't Southern Baptists here. We split from the Church over some doctrinal differences. It's so sad to see a Church that was clearly on a righteous path go so far off. But they've made their own choices and they'll have to deal with God one of these days.
If you have any sense about you, you will leave that doomed Church and come worship here at Landover Baptist.

Dear exMormon:
I thought it was OK to be a Southern part of the Landover Baptist?
The good Lords surely blesses the Stars & Bars, and the South will certainly rise again (like or Savior did). Say Amen!
It better be OKeyy-Dokey to be from the Southern Part of the Landover Baptist, elseways the Kristian Krusaders Klub is bound to git pissed off. And when they start marchin', they carry a grudge with a burnin' cross (and Second Amendment certified firepower). Say Amen!

Re: Hello fellow Real Americans.
I hear where you're coming from. I have felt for a long time that my Church has been going astray, but I trust that as a former Mormon you understand how hard it can be to leave a Church you have been with for all of your life. But God must come first, and that is why I am here.Originally posted by exMormon View PostWell, we aren't Southern Baptists here. We split from the Church over some doctrinal differences. I'd be interested if you knew my father. It's a real small group, but it helps us be tight knit. Are you familiar with Southwall Bapist Church? Not many are, seeing as we don't even have a website. I've got a few good friends who do, but I can't risk it. I'm helping to lead some of the Tea Party movement here in my area to get that heretic out of office and they don't want us getting sidetracked in the media. Seems there's a bad stigma about that sort of thing these days.Originally posted by SavedByTheLordWelcome to our Godly Forum™ friend. I am guessing you also wear the same comfy robes I do.

As for your question, well this is difficult. I really don't like discussing the mistakes I've made in offending the Lord. It's kind of painful for me to bring up these memories. But as a show of good faith, I'll offer you this one example. When I was a teenager (and you know how it can be when you're a teenager) one of my former friends convinced me to let down my guard and masturbate. Oh, it felt good when I was doing it, but when my seed hit the ground and my head cleared from the demonic ecstasy of my sin, I knew what I had done and felt guilt at once. I still do to this day. I never spoke to the friend who lead me astray again.
Can we please steer the conversation away from this area, at least for now? I know that one must ultimately live up to their sins, but this a bit of a painful area when we are all just getting to know each other.

Re: Hello fellow Real Americans.
I am posting this from the floor of the Nashville convention. We have had an inspiring time, and after this is over we will begin to spread the word far and wide so America will know the Truth. We have come up with a list of goals and tactics that will be revealed, quite possibly on this Godly Forum™. We in the Landover contigient here are working closely to dovetail these in with Project Habakkuk.Originally posted by riseagain View PostI've got a few good friends who do, but I can't risk it. Brother you seem aware of the sin of Onan. Since you are still with us the Lord chose not to smite you.As for your question, well this is difficult. Re: Hello fellow Real Americans.
I wish I could be right there with you in Nashville but my daughter has a fever and the wife was insistent that I stay here with her to help keep an eye.
That is all true. It is difficult to face my transgressions myself, even if they are few. Sharing them with others carries with it all the difficulties of confessing the greatest of crimes, even if this is a friendly and understanding place. Maybe it's a bit of weakness on my part to not be readily forthcoming to you with all of my sins, but I hope you understand that, at least for now, I am more comfortable keeping that between me and Jesus.Originally posted by SayvedByTheLordComing clean to the Lord to your fellow Christians is always painful Brother. Re: Hello fellow Real Americans.
Confessing to Jesus and asking for His forgiveness is the most important part. John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."Originally posted by riseagain View PostMaybe it's a bit of weakness on my part to not be readily forthcoming to you with all of my sins, but I hope you understand that, at least for now, I am more comfortable keeping that between me and Jesus.
But trusting your Brothers is also important and it seems you still need to do some work there. Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."5 Reasons why GOD HATES WOMEN!
- Protect your family the Christian way! Get your daughter raped!
- Only Sluts Get Raped! (1st Timothy 2:9)
- Down syndrome is a lifestyle choice!

Re: Hello fellow Real Americans.
Even the best of us has our faults, I suppose. But I work every second to heed God's word as I can, although I'm admittedly imperfect. Will Landover Baptist accept me anyway? I may hit some bumps along the road, but I shall hold firmly to the path of true salvation.
