I'm curious.
What proof is there of God?
The proof is in the bible right?
That you read right?
That was written right?
By a group ages ago right?
Who's laws, science and standards were MUCH MUCH lower and less sophisticated then ours today right?
SO.
Whats the proof saying that they were wrong? That their devine message was a small hallucination? Or perhaps a day dream? If you meditate, you can reach transe like conditions. Once in this condition you can contact "your inner self". God is within you right?
WELL, turns out, the only way you can dwell into this category of science, is by researching into (to todays standards) Theoretical Physics. Dealing with dimensions, and theories of everything. When you have gone into this branch of research. Things get very fuzzy.
BUT there is a kicker! WE ARE STILL RESEARCHING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No one in the history of science has every written a book called "The theory of everything, worship this".
No government has ever passed laws regarding theoretical physics. Which, in truth, is the study to PROVE God, what "it" is, does etc.
Thats because in science, it's an ongoing process. We continue to search for answers and leads and direction to proof. Then we try to produce experiments to actually prove them in real-time.
This fundamental process is known as The Scientific Method.
The bible in fact, totally go against this process, and attempts to guide the reader. People AGES ago who don't know what we know today, try to force these beliefs upon people.
Why?
Then it was to control. It had nothing to do with morals. Native Americans had just as good morals as "True Christians" do (IMO they were better, because hunting wasn't for sport, and we all know what the top heads of "Christian America" love to do on their pass-time, not the best of examples but I'm sure you all get the point) but because they weren't in Church, they weren't saved, or "rapture-ready", they had to be changed. Therfore they trusted the Europeans who quickly slaughtered them and took their land.
Awesome.
Now back to the point of LOGIC and the Scientific Method.
Believing something blindly, is just as bad as choosing to chug a bottle of chemicals (unknown) and praying (no pun intended) that it won't kill you.
You have done the research within yourself you say? That is your proof. Well, if thats how you want to live your life, fine by me, I'm just saying.
WAKE UP.
It's time to grow OUT of old habits, and see past our ancestors beliefs and laws. Honestly, if you have gone to school at all, you already understand the "Growing up" concept of life. Learning from mistakes. All religion has done is cause differences between humans and at least science has the Modern Medicine era under it's belt.
Before you say it I'm no Scientologist. Just a guy who understands simple 1+2=12 (lol 3) logic and is trying to get people to grow out of proven bad systems.
