My name is Father Thomas Martin. I am a Catholic priest, and the pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford, WI.

I come to have various discussions with my separated brethren, knowing we disagree on several things, but also trusting it will be civil, as we both share the faith in God our Father through His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

So, I pray that we all may one day come to the unity that Our Savior intended for us, and that he may help us through the intercession of His Mother, The Most Blessed Virgin Mary.

Since the Catlick church doctrine has been wrong in every case it is obvious the whole sordid mess is run by Satan, not The Lord God. The Pope is the guardian to the gate of HELL, not Heaven. Get thee hither, demon!

The whole sordid mess of the past centuries certainly does look as if it has been running on ignorance, and outright evil -- the work of satan? could it be? scary!

Now if that hellish mess has been the foundation of the sort of Christianity I've been used to all these years, then I would have to reconsider -- seriously

I'm not religious at all but Catholics seem like rather nice people apart from being against contraceptives. Also, the Vatican has some very nice artwork in it (especially partial to the Caravaggio paintings) so there's a bit of extra credit

Considering that we guys are the ones going to heaven and everyone else is going to burn in hell, are you sure you are glad you are not like us. You seem a nice enough person, I would hate to see you burn in Hell next to the likes of Ted Kennedy and Hilary Clinton.
