They loved God, and we constantly rely on their intercession for help...So, if we love God, and they love God, that's a pretty darn good connection!
Why is a personal relationship with Jesus not good enough for you?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

I'm sorry, if you wanted a personal relationship with me, I'd suggest you get to know my friends too...And guess what, Jesus ain't that much different.
ACTS 5:29
But Peter and the apostles said in reply, "We must obey God rather than men."

What do you mean, He ain't that much different? He is the son of God, that's really quite a lot different to being a doddering servant of the Antichrist or one of the Spice Girls!

Okay, so Britney Spears is God's gift to pop, but the Spice Girls are of the devil?
If you ask me, they're all (well, except for Scary Spice) living better than the drug-addict Spears (who we pray for her recovery).

My cloest friend is a Roman Catholic, and I almost never complain about his choices. I personally think, as both Christains and Catholics follow the same good, there is no need for fighting.

Omerta, you've got my point! First of all, Catholics are Christians (as are Protestants and Eastern Orthodox). Second, we can all follow Christ in peace.
As for him joining the Church, all I can do is pray...

The fact that they are fighting says a whole lot about the abrahamic religions, really. They all fall under one subheading:
Violent, judgemental and nasty.

You may worship Mary and "Father" Thomas Martin, but we True Christians most certainly do not! They follow false gods, and thus we are commanded to destroy them. End of story.

By saying that Catholics follow flase Gods, it means we do to.
Not at all. They worship Mary and the Pope; we don't; therefore, they follow false gods, we don't.
Hardly. How have I exactly?
If you mean "learnt to use the quote function so people can see what I'm talking about", I'd say you haven't at all.

They don't worship Mary and the Pope as God(s) though, just important figure. Mary is obvious because she was the mother of Jesus Christ, while the Pope is supposed to be the closest man to God on Earth, at least as far as I know, I could be wrong. I'm not a Catholic so forgive me if I misconstrue things.
