What is your Favorite Bible Verse?
Do you have any sons?
You stated you found Jesus when you were born are you a Catholic?
Why has Jesus directed you to our Little Church?

-Nope, no sons. I'm not married yet but I have been dating a girl for the past 2 years. I figure marriage can wait until I'm out of college and have a steady job.
-Roman Catholic. We believe that one can find Jesus in baptism but to truly find him you have to accept him into your heart when you are old enough to make that decision. For me, it was at 15.

Very admirable, I hope you are remaining pure and are fighting the temptations of sex-Nope, no sons. I'm not married yet but I have been dating a girl for the past 2 years. I figure marriage can wait until I'm out of college and have a steady job.
Son I do hope you understand that Catholics are not Christian. Son why don't you want to go to Heaven? Why do you worship Mary and not her Son Jesus? Are you aware of what God says about false worship?-Roman Catholic. Re: Hi
-I think creation stories help us to relate God to our daily lives.
-I'd like to say I have but we do partake on the rare occasion.
-We Catholics reserve worship exclusively for the Trinity. Mary is respected for giving birth to Jesus but we do not "worship" her or pray to her. Catholics ask Mary (and the Saints) to pray for them, in the same way one would ask a fellow church member to pray for them. Direct prayers are reserved for the trinity.
-Maybe so?

So you admit to committing sin. What is wrong with you?-I'd like to say I have but we do partake on the rare occasion.
Why do you hate God?
-Now you are not being truthful . Why do you consider Mary to be the Queen of Heaven is she a God? I pray to Jesus, I pray to God. Why would you pray to the Mama of Jesus or some dead Pope that was most likely a pedophile? We Catholics reserve worship exclusively for the Trinity. Like I said, Catholics don't pray to Mary and the Saints. We ask for their prayers. We pray to the trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). Personally I know Popes don't have very good records so I reserve my prayer requests for Saint Peter exclusively (He's my favorite).Originally posted by James Dewitt View PostWhoDat?;496130]

Don't you just love Catliks. Monday through Friday they run around sinning. Show up Saturday to confess to a Pedophile priest. They get direction to say 10 hail marys and 5 our fathers. Then on Sunday they show up for Mass, cut a check to the Pope and start all over on Monday!I admit to my past sins so that I can repent for them.
Describe the May Crowning to me. Is Peter a God?Like I said, Catholics don't pray to Mary and the Saints. We ask for their prayers. We pray to the trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). Yes I have committed sin...Note HAVE as in past tense. I have accepted Jesus and have been washed of my sins.I think everyone needs to repent. Everyone has committed a sin at one time or another.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Re: Hi
I find it interesting, when asked if the poster wants to go to Heaven, he does not respond. I find it terribly disturbing that being associated with pedophiles does not bother him. Lastly, why would a papist come here? He knows his is following a false religion, I just do not get it.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Brother James I hear you. When I asked him the questions it was as if he did not care. I wonder if he will feel the same way when he is in Hell?

Of course I want to go to Heaven! And through Christ I will! Yes it is disturbing that there are pedophiles within the Catholic church but this is true with all religions. I just avoid the pedophile priests to ensure I do not associate with them. I fail to see how it is a "false" religion.Originally posted by James Hutchins View PostI find it interesting, when asked if the poster wants to go to Heaven, he does not respond. Re: Hi
Bad Catholics maybe. I try to avoid sin as much as possible but being human sometimes temptation gets the best of me. Luckily Jesus died for my sins so they can be forgiven!Originally posted by James Dewitt View PostDon't you just love Catliks. Monday through Friday they run around sinning. The May crowning is a practice of honoring Mary as the Mother of Jesus. Not worshiping her as a God. Peter is not a God, he is one of the Apostles of Christ and a Saint in the Catholic Church.Originally posted by James Dewitt View PostDescribe the May Crowning to me. Is Peter a God?
I don't really see the argument here? I know my sins are forgiven through Christ so I'd say I agree with you?Originally posted by James Dewitt View PostYes I have committed sin...Note HAVE as in past tense. I have accepted Jesus and have been washed of my sins.

Re: Hi
Well if you want to go to Heaven then you better start being a True Christian(TM). Why would you stay with a Church that promotes Pedophile priests? We do not have one single pervert Pastor or Member. How do you know if the guy is a pedophile, does he have a sign or does he just tell you?Originally posted by WhoDat? I will give you a link, it will explain why Cathliks are not Christian. Read it then stop asking retarded questions.

Re: Hi
The problem is you can not be saved unless you are a Christian. Jesus died temporally for all of us so we can rejoin him in heaven. Its called salvation. You are not Baptised in a Christian Church, you are not saved now are you. If you are not saved its off to hell.Originally posted by WhoDat? View PostBad Catholics maybe. Re: Hi
Wait so you believe through Baptism one is saved? Because I always thought accepting Christ as your savior saved you? Regardless I have had both so I guess it's Heaven for me.Originally posted by James Dewitt View PostThe problem is you can not be saved unless you are a Christian. Also, interesting post. It gave me a lot to think about. Although I think there is some misunderstanding on the posters part as the Catholic Church of the past has much less in common with today's Catholic church. But thank you for the information!
