kindly reminded by Pastor Ezekiel, hereby i'd like to introduce myself

my real name is Kirsten, a USA born caucasian girl from ohio texas originally. Me and my family lived there till I was 13 years old. My dad is an artist and mum looked after us, so all in all kinda normal. Nowadays me and my family live in Rio De Janeiro in Brasil. When on vacation some years ago my parents loved it so much they decided to move there. Perhaps it's odd to hear a texas born girl hasn't grown up in the name of the Christ, but frankly I did... of course I grew up with others whom did believe in God, like my best friend Josh. In Rio I really lost my agnosticism however.. living in the shadow of Jesus. I started thinking more and more about my beliefs, and joined a Christian group whom named themselves 'Youth Alpha'. It was a strange experience at first, finding myself in a group mingled with believers and non(yet) believers and having discussions about Bible topics such as the crucifixion, easter, and letting faith be your shield and the Word of God be like a sword in your life... but it made sense. The more I attended and joined in the more I felt the need for God grow. When the meetings where over I made up my mind and joined the Saint Sebastian Cathedral. I also began studying Arts and am a 3rd year Art Teacher =D
I came on this forum by accident when looking for good arguments in an discussion about homosexuality, and liked the general opinions and rightfull preaching here.
I hope i'm not to much of a newbie for you people, but I'm a quick learner too.

that's the reason I joined currently lurking alot on this forum too, noted you guys don't like the catholic beliefs, which is okey with me, I don't get the Hail Mary part either, she's not the Christ. Also noted your Church preaches from the King's, found a usefull link to a site with that version too. Never knew there would be such destinct Bible versions besides the Apocryphal and deuterocanonical books i see the point in it too now, it being translated for the Received Text and others to be as true a translation as possible. I'll look up a printed copy

It's pretty interesting, yes. Many people think there's just "the Bible", yet in our language alone, there are at least a dozen popular one.

Do a search for "NASB vs KJV" some time. You'll find that the differences are far from trivial.

agree on all points. very much when coming to the child molesting going on. it really seems they're swiping it under the table as hard as they can but still the horror comes flooding out under it. i'll look into the bible comparison! thanks!

Kirsten, welcome. I hope your dad was supervising your posts.

Not sure why you want to spend time studying art unless you plan to paint your kitchen. I hope you also took many home economics classes too. The secret to catching a mans eye is a to be able to cook, clean, have many sons and be respectful. And not run around like a slutty harlot.

apple pies are usually an succes when making them ^___^ oh and one i learned from a friend, buttercake! i believed it's called in english dunno if it qualifies as a cake but it's a sweet crusty piece of paistry and very hearthy.. also nice with jams could post the recipe if there's interest.

haven't studied economics, and i think it's usefull picking up a study. I can't and don't wanna be a harlot and keep paraciting people when not having a husband for support so i think it's a usefull thing to be able to have a job when neccesairy

Have you warned the people in Rio de Janeiro that their continued rejection of Jesus by being Catholics will only lead to more floods and landslides? What's the death count up to this week? About a hundred Catholics so far?

there does seem like alot of activity concerning the sinfull. i also keep watch on Phelp's sermons and he seems to have a point in retribution coming to the countries that mock the Word. though he's more focussed on support for fags. Seems likely the Netherlands and Italy are likely targets.. oh Italy also suffered from a landslide disaster.. guess Jesus is really keeping up
