Evasion and the undercutting are what they r about. If you are patient they finally paint themself into corners. But be polite or they make you disappear from the board (it happened to me)

and yet there are people out there who find our views and attitudes 'strange' and 'aggressively closeminded'. Those people should be imprisoned or shot. Gods word obviously cant get through to everyone, no matter how many times you bash them over the head with a KJV bible.

I am very taken by what goes on on these boards. I am also very taken that you participate in this. I thought of becoming born again, these forums have completely turned me away. I feel no love, no warmth or spirituality here. I feel horrible anger and hate. I will stick to my meditation and my own connection with Jesus, This is hell. These forms are all what satan stands for.

I hope god will fill your hearts with happiness, I did not relize all this fighting and nastiness was part of being born again..

Urbansetter, we only have anger and hate if God tells us to. We just follow the word of God and the teachings of Jesus. If you are searching for something I suggest that you just read the whole Bible and make up your own mind. Don't go to Bible reading classes or your local church because they will twist the Bible to fit their own ideas. You may finish the Bible and see things our way. You may finish it and decide to be an atheist. At least have the strength of character to make a decision. Being a Christian is like being a virgin, you either are or your not, there is no half way position. Whatever you do please don't be a lukewarm hippy Christian who uses the Bible like a menu and picks the bits he likes and buries his head in the sand about the bits he doesn't. I am sure that you are stronger and better person than that.

You can not have your "own connection with Jesus". That is not how it works. Either you follow the Holy Bible or you burn in Hell. No shortcuts.

I have to ask you, being one of the few intelligent atheists I've met (which makes me wonder why you're not a True Christian(TM) but that's another argument) how does it make you feel to see the average intellect of your peers? Does it make you want to reconsider your view on God? Or bash your head against a wall until you fit in with the rest of the crowd?
