Hello from Malaysia

Hi everyone.

I'm Daniel (23 by 2010) from Malaysia. And I'm happy to be able to join you guys here in this forum.

I was a normal Christian guy living my life for Jesus, serving in church as drummer, guitarists, and conduct my own personal bibile study until one day, my ex-atheist turn Christian friend showed me videos by Kent Hovind. I do not exault this man, but I was highly motivated by his video seminar into using Physics and Chemistry to glorify Christ.

Ever since then, I involved myself into discussion about evolution, big bang, old-earth, cultic, and learnt a lot of stuff. I decided to join a forum to increase my knowledge on this topic of Creationism so finally the Holy Spirit led me to this forum.

I join a local Baptist Church in Miri City in the state of Sarawak. Forgive me for my bad english as my mother tongue is Chinese and I speak mainly "Manglish" (Mandarin + English)

We are big fans of Kent's here. www.answersingenesis.com is also great stuff to confirm what we already know to be true. It's nice being able to prove it with science.

Welcome! It's a rare treat to meet a Son of Shem.

You are a brave Christian to live in Malasia, surrounded by Muslims. I bet it's almost as bad as living in Obama's America.

Your english is very good, surpising, seeing as for a while Malasia had the tallest skyscraper in the world - as we learn from the Tower of Babel in Genesis, God punishes skyscraper builders by plaguing the world with multiculturalism. I guess now God is aiming all his linguistic wrath at Dubai, though.

Which position in the government would you like to have after President Sarah Palin leads Operation Malaysian Freedom? Is your village on an island that could use a bridge built to connect it to another island? We know people who know people.

My favourite verse in Psalm 2: 4. KJV says in best cause.... Well KJV is the only one.

That verse ultimately tell us who win the war in the end. And I'm happy that I joined the winning team

I was a Buddhist by name, Not-so-strong Atheist by heart.

But as I grow, I started to question things like:

1. How possible can elements like Carbon, Oxygen, Sodium, Potassium and Hydrogen bond together to form Protein. Now I have not touch Chemistry for 3 years and certain not remember correctly which elements are there in the Protein structure. But my point is, how lifeless element form life without something to fill the equation.

2. Buddhism theology: If good deeds weighed more than bad deeds, according to that, Buddhists can go to Nirvana. OK fine. They can go and join Buddha, but their sin are nto yet accoutned for. And according to human nature, human tends to repeat their wrongdoings. That means in hell, earth, and nirvana are full of bad people. I threw this question to all the Buddhists major monks I can find. They give me no answer at all.

Well, them ore I read the Bible, the more I am convinced that Christ provided me all the answer I want to know. Hallelujah.

By the way, the word Lucifer means the Enlighten One. And Buddha, before he died, he told his diciples that he is the enlighten one.

Well, not much persecution here in East Malaysia than the West. Even there are persecutions, there are none bloodshed. Plus we have bunch of Godly political leaders in the government.

There's one coming soon, real soon, but I'm ready for it.

And wow, I was not aware of Operation Malaysian Freedom. Kindly brief me on that please

I put on my facebook once, on the status, saying: I'll give anyone a total sum of RM 2,000 (about USD 800 if I'm not mistaken based on the conversion on USD 1 = RM 3.35) if anyone can prove to me God is fake.

Since then, my facebook mail, and email inbox never stay silent.

Well, we don't know anything about the military side of things here. Our job has more to do with talking points and staying on message.

For example: Malaysia is where the A.Q. Khan network produced centrifuge components for Libya. And Malaysia is the last of the industrializing countries without nuclear export controls. Therefore Malaysia is exporting WMD to terrorist rogue nations.

Is Malaysia worth liberating? Are you going to debate this until there's a mushroom cloud rising above manhattan?

Nope. My church survived cause there were two muslims NGOs (Non-Government Organisations) that patrolled around my church areas from arsonists attack.

Welcome brother, that the Lord may show you the Only Way. It is though in Indonesia, with all those mooslims. Have you tried to show them the True Way?

Oh Muslims are hard to reach because in Malaysia, there's a law issued that Christians cannot convert the Muslims. Any attempted conversion will result in jail.

I really want to reach out to them. But since Romans says to obey the law, I just obey..



Noy entirely though. I do not reach out to them in public. I did it in secret, together with some "Muslims" friends who are already a Christian in secret.
