I wanted to thank you all for running a wonderful Baptist forum. I hope my visit here will be better received than my last visit. I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Brad Crassley. I hold a Masters degree in Religious Studies and I was a minister at a Southern Baptist church for many years, but lost my faith and then became an Atheist who foundationally agreed with the works of Hitler and Communism. Later I found Theologyweb, and the members helped lead me back to God. I have been attending a Baptist church. I don't think their teachings were the right way, and I will tell you why. I later on realized I could not sign onto Theologyweb. I hired a guy to look at my computer because I believed there was a virus on it. It cost me $125 to do this. I received an e-mail from an acquantance I had met on Theologyweb telling me there was a good possiblity I had been banned. Later on, I found out that Theologyweb decided to ban my account without notifying me. Is this really the way Christians act? I don't think that is the case. I want to find God the right way, and through God's only true church, which is the Baptist church. I look forward to learning many things from the Pastors at this site, as I believe you will have much to offer. God bless everyone .

I was associated with highly liberal people. Thats what led me to the false cult of Atheism.

I got banned at the forum after trying to help convert someone to Christianity.

Its quite ironic, but they told me some key information to help prove to me there was a God. After this, it seems they didn't want to help me understand more about the Bible because they banned me. Thats why I'm here cause I believe you guys can help me learn more about the Baptist faith better. Please forgive me for my belief in that false Christian forum.

Hi Brad, sorry I did not provide you with a warm welcome and a firm handshake earlier. I was on the road make a delivery for Sam Diamond and I had to only travel at night, not attracting attention. you understand I am sure.

In any case, A man such as yourself is a shining example for all the heathens out there, the naysayers about being Godly. A man that once was blind to God's light, his all encompassing embrace, finally is letting Him shine a path through the dark despair that is life, holding your sweaty palm in His, your lamb like gaze in to His steely eyes. Then you realize, your pulling on God was not right, you knew you and He would be together day and night, but you were trying to pull towards the false beliefs. Fortunately, you let God pull you to Him and became a Baptist, allowing Him to enter you and douse you with His thick love.

Thanks for your information. I did like the part about going to the Bible and asking a child to interpret it for you. That made a lot of sense to me. Middletree Bible studies agrees with you - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding"

Notice how a small child, even a baby, allows you to pick them up and carry them. Does the child seem the least bit worried that you might drop him? Of course not. In fact, he usually has no idea whether he is one foot or 6 feet off the ground. He just assumes that since you have him in your arms, everything is going to be alright. He doesn’t ask for your credentials, to see if you are qualified to carry him or to be his parent. He trusts you completely.http://www.middletree.net/trust.asp
