Re: Greetings from California
Welcome. We're happy to learn of a Christian in the lieberal CA.Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Re: Greetings from California
How did you come to walk with Christ?
What church do you attend, and who is your Pastor?
Do you have a family?
What are some of your favorite verses from Scripture?II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

Re: Greetings from California
I found Christ though a vacation bible school and continued my walk the lord with Bible studies and Sunday school. I was Baptized when I was 14 years old and accepted Christ as my lord and savoir. I was originally Baptized in a Methodist Church by method of sprinkling, I was Re-Baptized, in my home Church of Liberty Baptist Church Santa Cruz, by way of immersion. I am a husband of one wife and father of one boy (so far). My Pastor is Dennis Kofler, he has been pastoring for 15 years at my Church.
My Favorite verses include:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Praise the LORD of hosts to meet such a strong Christian. Please tell me your views on following the Old Testament law.Originally posted by MajorDraco View PostI found Christ though a vacation bible school and continued my walk the lord with Bible studies and Sunday school. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Re: Greetings from California
I also hail from California, sir. Ever been to Stockton? It's not necessarily the greatest smelling place in the world, but there is a fine conclave of Bible-believing Christians here.
