Howdy do. My name is Billy Bob Jenkins and I'm a lumber Jack mindin' the border of North Florida South Georgia area. I shore do love the Lord and so does my wife Ethel (although sometimes I have to correct her, 'cause she don't know the Bible like I do. Y'all know how it is with women-folk sometimes. No offense, ladies).
I wanted to put these verses in my signature, but it was too long. Maybe after I've been here a while y'all will let me use it:
"It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on high places. He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze ... I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. I have wounded them, so that they were not able to rise; they have fallen under my feet. For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me." (Psalm 18:32,37)
I'm kinda new to this whole internet thing. I live in the woods, where I work. I built my home with my own bare hands, me and my wife Ethel that is. She works hard, for a woman. But I have to keep an eye on her. You never know what th' little varmint might get into. I shore do love my wife. Just recently the city run some wires out this way, and built one o' them strip malls. The roads have been paved for years now. I'm livin' in civilization (something I'll bet you folks know all about, out there in Freehold, Iowa, you city folk).
I shore do hope to make some good Christian friends here. What attracted me to this place was that I hear you are the only church that really follows the word of God. That's what I been told anyway. I'm here to see if that's true, and it shore looks like it is. I have much respect for you already. Thanks in advance for the warm, Christian welcome.
P.S. I am a veteran, and so is my eldest son. I look forward to speaking with others who have served.
