A Christian, by definition, is a person who believes that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. I'm a member of the LDS Church, and I believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and I believe in the King James Bible, and, also, The Book Of Mormon/Doctrine & Covenants/Pearl Of Great Price. Deal With it.

We believe that he went into a forest to pray to God, because He wasn't sure of which church was right. God said none of them. so, a couple of years later, The Angel Of mormoni (the person who buried the Golden Plates around 1500 years ago) appeared to him, telling him where the Golden Plates were. He goes there, then brings them back and starts translating them into English, with a God given ability to read the language. Then he receives help from Oliver Cauldry to write it down. And yes, more than one person saw them. After this, he was persecuted for being blasphemous, even though this country was founded on religious freedom. Yet, after the persecution, he went on teaching true doctrine. Why? Because he knew that it was true.

Plus, as I said before, we believe that Jesus is the Messiah, so therefore we are Christian. CHRISTian.

Mormons teach that man can become God and that God was once a man. This is absolute heresy! Nowhere in the Holy Bible (KJV 1611) does it say or imply that God was ever a man or that man can become God!

How could this be true if God was once a man?

This clearly states that God existed "in the beginning" before man was ever created.

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

This states that God is a Spirit, not a "man."

God has always been God, and no man has ever become God or ever will.

In addition, the Deity of Jesus Christ is a fundamental doctrine of True Christianity(tm). Yet mormons deny this truth and still have the gall to call themselves Christians. Exalting man to "god status" is o-kay with mormons, but Jesus Christ is NOT acknowledged as the eternal Son of God in the Mormon church. The Mormon Jesus was simply a preexisting spirit who was exalted, just as Mormon followers hope to be exalted someday.

The Holy Bible states in Isaiah 8:20:

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

But the mormon church claims that other writings, such as the "Book of mormon" and Joseph Smith's writings are also authoritative. Joseph Smith actually taught his people to doubt the accuracy of the Bible.

The mormons deny the Trinity, deny the existence of a literal burning Hell, yet they promote polytheism, baptism for the dead, and that Jesus and Satan were originally spirit brothers! Mormonism is an extremely dangerous cult! In God's eyes, they are abominable! God's Holy Word reveals them as true wolves behind sheep's clothing.

Do you guys really believe a video made by close-minded people like you? yes, there are some things in that video that are true, but most of it is very inaccurate. Joseph Smith was not a "Treasure Hunter", he was a young man out to find which church is the correct church.
and yes, Muslims are not Christians. And yes, they do believe in Jesus Christ. They believe he was a prophet of God, but they do not believe that he is the Messiah. That is what makes them not Christian. Mormons, on the other hand, do believe that Christ is the Messiah, therefore, we are CHRISTIANS.
