Welcome and thank you for introducing yourself. Tell us more about yourself, miss or was it mrs.?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
It wasn't a certain thread that brought you here; it was the LORD! You are here for a reason, and that reason is to get Saved(r)!
Please tell us more about yourself so that we know how to proceed. Are you married? If so, do you have your husband's permission to be on the computer? If not, do you have your father's permission? Have you been baptized (full immersion)?
II Thessalonians 1:7-9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power
The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony
It seems that some of the wonderful men of LBC have already asked you may questions, which I too, would like answered.
To add to the mix though, if you are a female, which is your favorite pie to bake and, if a man, your favorite pie to eat? What is your favorite bible verse?
With due respect, I will reserve actual welcome until all these important questions have been answered.
I am married with 4 beautiful children. I am of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My husband is of no religion. He beleives organized religion is wrong and is searching for truth.
WinterSnow you seem to be a lovely woman! I don't bake pies. I have made an apple pie before and it was wonderful! I struggle with making the crust. I have to learn my trial and error. We try to eat things made from scratch as much as possible. Grinding our own wheat as it's the most beneficial from first grind.
I love horses and used to be a very talented rider. God and family are what are most important now. I love being married and having our children. They have truly blessed my life.

I thought the mormonies gave people the boot who were married to non-believers.
BTW, you do know this is a Christian forum and not a place for people on the LSD, right?

Hi Levi Jones, The Latter Day Saints does not excommunicate people for marrying outside of their religion. They strongly encourage to marry someone of your own faith as marriage is hard enough and adding in more differences may end in divorce.
Is this only a forum for the Landover Baptist Church? I merely wanted to learn how others believe. I have been raised a Latter day Saint all my life so I don't know much of other religions. I have many friends who believe different and most we have not discussed our beliefs much in depth
I truly love him and I know he loves me. He has blessed my life in many ways as I follow to serve him. I know mans ways and I know God's ways. To follow him is true happiness and peace. Though the struggle is hard it is more bearable following him.
Just out of curiousity - will you inherit a planet of your own when you die?
I'm not sure what is in store after death. Do we keep learning as we have learned here on earth to love our fellow man and to become a better person. To over come our natural man. To steer away from anger, hate, all the things the natural man is. Natural Man is God's enemy. He fulfills his desires to satisfy his wants and hurts others. God's man will do all he can to help others and to keep them on the straight and narrow path. He shows true love with kindess and gentleness. To follow Jesus in his teachings to love one another has he loves us.

x 2!
Well Goodness, it is a good thing Jesus lead you here when he did! It's obvious you have many fences to mend with Christ!I would normally ask if you have your husbands permission to be on here, but considering his heathen ways, his opinion or demands mean nothing anyway!
WinterSnow you seem to be a lovely woman!
I merely try to live up to the expectations of Jesus, Tara!

Well, it can be quite temperamental; given weather conditions on a given day . Humidity usually plays havoc with my pastry, living in Australia and being this close to hell, it is understandable; especially with my short crust. That being the case, I have woken at 2am some days and prepared pastry balls for chilling prior to Bible closet time. Then over those two hours it has set nicely and ready to roll out and be filled. They always go down a treat at the Church bake sales.

Oh yes I understand that! Even though your husband is a heathen, I do have to give him credit for that.
I love horses and used to be a very talented rider.
Hmm.. well as Jesus himself rode both an ass with foal, I cannot see the problem there. Obviously though your talents riding such beast were not that of Christ Himself! He rode them for our salvation, afterall!!
Mat 21:5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
Mat 21:6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
Mat 21:7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him (Jesus) thereon.
Mat 21:8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strowed them in the way.
God and family are what are most important now. I love being married and having our children. They have truly blessed my life.
God IS important however, given your husbands situation, perhaps you should ponder on this:
Acts 7:3 - And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
^-- wise words indeed, sister!
Gee, I so look forward to interacting with you more!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the book of moremoney say that the husband has to call the wife to heaven?
How is that possible if your husband is burning in hell, according to the mormon faith?
