  • Finally, some like minded folk!

Beautiful day to all of my Christian brothers and sisters!

After sifting through all of the garbage on the internet, I've finally come across something worth while! The mere fact that I stumbled onto this site with all of the filth that is out there is a small miracle in and of itself!

Well, as my name indicates, I am from a small Southern town where most of my neighbors are good God-fearing people. We've done an excellent job making sure to let any strangers who have moved into the community know that it's OUR community, and they can live our way or take the highway out!

We had a period of time where one of the major apple farmers was hiring some people from much too far down south, if you catch my drift. People with cursed yellow skin that made our town start to reek of a foreign stench. Now mind you, if this particular farmer had not paid these 'people' anything (as is their place in society IMHO), kept them segregated from those of us that have a manifest right to walk on this ground, and given them a trough to bath in, I wouldn't have minded AS much. I might have even purchased a bar of soap for them to share if they had been fulfilling their duty in life to be under our dominion and to do our labor for FREE, so that those of us truly deserving could reap the benefits. This was not the case however. Fortunately, this situation worked itself out. This farmer had a couple of barns and outbuildings that God's lightning set on fire, and God also plagued the crops that were in storage and cursed the ground so that these trees would not yield a desirable bounty in years to come. This farmer (who moved down here from somewhere up north) decided this farm was not profitable, packed his bags and left! PRAISE!!! It's probably a good thing too, because hunting accidents have been known to happen in these hills.

Wow, that was a bit of a rant! Back to my introduction.

As I mentioned though, I am glad to find a community here on the web with more like minded people. My neighbors are okay, but some of them seem to not understand that the in fact, yes, the Bible is to be taken LITERALLY. Who are these people to defile and change God's word? It disgusts me that ANYONE has the audacity to think that they know better than The Good Book. The public schools teach devilution, but fortunately I was home schooled with a group of my peers that laugh at and reject that non-sense.

When I was 6 years old my mother was in a car accident and was killed. At the time, my father was playing a role in Desert Storm, and after the funeral had to go back. So, we had an aunt that was taking care of us. She took us to one of these 'progressive/new-age' types of church in the next bigger town over. I remember I was in the Sunday school class and somehow the topic of discussion was about Jesus' appearance. The Sunday school teacher actually sat there trying to convince us that Jesus would have been of dark complexion. I was very young at the time, but I remember being adamant about the fact that I knew that Jesus would have had light skin, because that is what my parents always taught me, and I knew that they would never lie to me. Anyway, the teacher made me sit in the corner of the classroom with my back turned to the other students, shunning me. It was at this point that I realized the majority of people did not have any true insight into what being Christian is about, and it was at this point that my beliefs had begun to solidify.

The rest of my upbringing was pretty standard. I was home-schooled (Thankfully). I learned everything I need to know about running a horse farm from working with my dad and brother, and all in all had a wonderful childhood.

When I was 18 years old I joined the United States Army. However, after 29 months of being enlisted, my father passed away from a heart attack. I had planned to make a career out of being in the Army, but I had to return home to help preserve my family legacy and help my brother run the horse farm. So, that is now what I do.

I also help care for the elderly in a retirement house here in our town. It isn't a retirement house in the traditional sense. It's an older farmhouse in which 1 couple, 3 widows and 2 widowers reside. These are all people from the community that were good friends with my grandparents and parents. Their families would rather have them taken care of by people they know that are their friends rather than shoving them in a sterile environment. It's a rewarding job.

I belong to and worship in a local Baptist church. I help with the youth ministry, and I enjoy doing that as well. I am happy with the church, but it seems to be losing it's way somewhat.

In my free time, I also play a lot of baseball.

So, there are the facts in brief about who I am. I am glad to have found this community and look forward to getting to know you all better as time goes on! I also look forward to sharing my faith with all of you and proving myself as a True Christian in this community! Any help is appreciated!

Thanks, and have a beautiful day!!!
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:7-8.
