  • Hello, dear Christians.

Hello, dear brothers and sisters. My name is Charles Blanton. I live in city of Newport News.
I was once a theist, like my parents, but now I've been thinking about becoming a christian.
I found this forum and I though, that I should get in contact with you guys. You seem like nice people. If you guys can convince me, why should I become an Christian Baptist and not join with any other religions, I'll stay with you, guys.
    Psalm 14

Well, Chuck, there is really one ultimate reason of reasons why you should become a Baptist -a reason like no other: if you don't, you will burn in Hell for all eternity. While in Hell, in addition to being burned alive every moment without pause, you may also enjoy the experience of: A) being butt-raped by demons with enormous purple members, B ) being sodomized by red-hot pitchforks, C) being turned inside out and having your organs rearranged, D) having your nipples stretched up over your head, or E) being hung upside down by your pinky toes while enduring the above. This is just a very short list of possibilities. Really, there is no end to the horrors of the damned. Satan has eternity to come up with ways to torment you.

          Is that reason enough?

If God wanted you to read a shorter Bible, He would have revealed one. All of it matters:

Matt. 4:4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Questions to ask liberal "Christians"Things that the Bible doesn't sayTolerance

                      Re: Hello, dear Christians.

Son, there are no Bible Cliff notes. If the size of God's manly magnifcence scares you, then I think need to step down off your high horse and snap out of it and get with the program. It took God an entire week to create everything, I think you can read a few pages.

                      Honestly!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Take it slow. Read a chapter a night routine before bed. If you have an easy weekend. I used to read the Bible in my hammock on the front porch on Sunday evenings.
