Greetings everyone
I just discovered your website.
I've always been interested in religion and I've read the Holy Bible 3 times already (during two years of studying on a boardingschool related to "The Church Association for the Inner Mission in Denmark").
Actually I was quite faithful and was praying to Jesus every night before I started studying at the boardingschool. During the stay some questions evolved in my head towards Christianity and Jesus but none of my teachers wanted to answer my questions. Maybe you can help me out.
Actually the main question is very brief.
Is/was/will Jesus (be) a caring, loving, peaceful and forgiving man/God?
If he is - how come that he states these things in the bible?
Mark, chapter 4
Matthew, chapter 15
Matthew, chapter 10

Mark, chapter 4
(10)When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables.
(11)He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that,
" 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'

" 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'
(22)A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession."
(23)Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us."
(24)He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
(25)The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said.
(26)He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."
(27)"Yes, Lord," she said, "but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table."
(28)Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

(33)But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.
(34)"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
(35)For I have come to turn
" 'a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law -
(36)a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'[e]
(37)"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
(38)and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
(39)Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
