Hi
My name is josh i'm 18yr's old, and want to be christian.
As of such i'm not christian but wabt to be, when i found this forum naturally is curious and thought maybe this kind of heavy handed and just take on religion is what i need to put me on the right track.

Anyway i live in australia, love metal music, play video games, smoke and drink and partake in other more questionable activities.

So you can see me life needs a major overhaul, so here's hoping

You're a WABT to be? I feel sorry for you. In spite of the metal music, the video gaming, smoking and drinking, you could have found salvation with hard work, but you're a plain heathen and a believer in Evilution...

G'day, Josh, from a fellow Australian.

As people who have been cursed by God to be born in an inferior and God-forsaken country, we have to work much harder than those who have been blessed to be born in His Chosen Land, the USA. Of course, like any good Christian, we should read the KJV1611 Bible and live our lives by every word, but we have to go the extra mile - or "kilometre", as we Godless Australians say.

I suggest that, as a first step, you write a letter to our wonderful Communications Minister, Steven Conroy, asking him not to delay the introduction of his Internet filter to ensure that we're protected from Satan's work. I personally suggested to him that every site on the Internet except for the Landover Baptist Church should be blocked. You might want to reinforce that suggestion in your letter.

You should think about eschewing the Devil's Music too. If you must listen to "pop" music (I know how it appeals to you young people), please consider the more uplifting types. I recommend some of Mitch Miller's music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dY9gtYeHhk) although it does tend towards the suggestive sometimes, so be careful. Doris Day also sang some great rock and roll - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZbKHDPPrrc - but again, be careful of suggestive lyrics and raunchy tunes.
