Hi, I'm 17 years old. I live in the Netherlands and I became an atheist like 2 years ago and I have a question. I've browsed through this forum a little and all I've seen was ignorance... I'm not trying to offend anyone but how can you be so *$^&# ignorant?

By the way, don't even brother saying stuff like "You're going to hell" or "May the lord save you" because I really don't believe in Christianity. I'm just here to ask my question. I hope I can get serious replies.

We could, but it would only land us in Hell. We have to believe in the King James Bible of 1611 and do everything it says. We only wear wholecloth, and we rabble against homosexuals. We believe the Earth is flat, and that we might all be whisked away by the rapture at any minute. We believe what he have to believe in order to get into Heaven. Why do you want to burn in Hell? Why don't you come to Heaven with us instead?

Welcome friend! I am so glad you took time out of your busy life to ponder baby Jesus. Ignorance is typically a result of a closed mind. Someone who makes their mind up and refuses to listen to reason and logic. A person, who, despite mountains of evidence and proof, denies the truth.
You are aware that calling your self an atheist means you have a closed mind, don't you? But at the same time., you came to a religious website to talk. Do you realize that is your subconscious screaming to be heard? That way down deep in your soul, you want the Lord in your life?

What gives you the right to say that the bible is the truth? In India people believe in Hinduism. They believe in Gods too based on the same facts as Christians do. Don't you think it's incredibly selfish to claim that the bible is the truth?

So if you see, with your own eyes, that the sun shines yellow/orange but the bible says it's blue you would believe that?

God made the world, the Bible is his word. It could not be wrong.

Everything in the Bible is true. But if the Bible said something false I would believe it anyway. I would have to be crazy not to. Would you rather be right and go to Hell, or wrong and go to Heaven?
