I'd wake up at 6 am, open up a new bottle of Jack and start guzzling, get to work on construction and maintenance, drink a little more, then when people would arrive I'd operate rides. After my shift was over I'd usually go drink some more or find some diseased slut to spend my evening with. Believe me I was unhappy! It was like i had no idea what to do with my life so i tried filling that void with whiskey and dirty women.

Now I am happy traveling the road doing my Christian clown ministry and puppet shows. I delight bringing children and adults a relationship with Jesus Christ.

But dont give up hope because sometimes Jesus sends people on meandering missions so they can learn. All my life was a big lesson for me. In fact, I think God probably brought you here to this church website to open your eyes. There are literally BILLIONS of websites online around the world....and you came to this one today. That cannot be a coincidence!
Haha, it's true. Coincidences are really few and far between.
I congratulate you on finding your faith, and wish you continued luck on such! I can only hope to find my way as you have.

Thank you once again Sister Charli. That link will definitely be most helpful.

I was introduced to Jesus as a child, through my mother. I have since moved away from my family, seeking answers in life.

I understand some may take the above statement as, "He's not a True Christian!" or "He's not a Baptist! He's a heathen!"

I apologize if it seems that way. I am simply a wandering soul seeking help and answers.
        Friend, if I may:

        Quit apologizing to earthly creatures.
        Quit seeking.
        Quit wandering.

Your mental hand-wringing avails you nothing. Seekers believe everything, meaning they believe in nothing. You will keep chasing your own tail until you die a sinner unless you drop to your knees upon THE ROCK OF SCRIPTURE that you keep tripping over.

It is right in front of you.

Get that King James 1611 Bible.

        Read it.

Abjectly grovel before the LORD. Confess your unworthiness. Invite Jesus into your heart. Give Him total control. Tithe and tithe and tithe again (no one respects that which they get for nothing; what you receive only feels valuable if you pay for it. By cash, check, or credit card). Obey your betters such as the earthly guides and masters at Landover.

        It's just that simple.

This can be the last stop on your sin train.

        Welcome.
Leviticus 13:44 He is a leprous man, he is UNCLEAN: the priest shall pronounce him utterly UNCLEAN; his plague is in his head.

2 Kings 6:25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.
