[Disciple Luke]

Please forgive me for a silly typo but I am a Disciple of Jesus. I am just so tired I hit the wrong letter.

I am male, 49, and live in Sydney, Australia. I am widowed, my wife dying in childbirth 7 months ago. I have three gorgeous sons: Matthew aged 7 months, Mark 2 years and John 4 years. Consequently I am a stay at home fulltime father to them. I have no extended family to help. I take my hat off to fulltime mothers. It is exhausting.

We attend the Northern Beaches Baptist Church and have home fellowship at my house 2 nights a week. (Saves me having to find a babysitter for the boys.)

My favourite bible verse is Lev 19:15 because I believe that it is right to judge others in that some folk are clearly sinful and this fluffy bunny stuff about loving everyone is not what God wanted us to do. God states categorically that in righteousness it is acceptable to judge our neighbour.

It was my dear wife who brought me to Jesus. She refused to date a non Christian and I was just besotted with her from the first time I set eyes on her so I agreed to go to church with her. That was 12 years ago. I miss her dreadfully.

Of course you have not said anything offensive.

The 300 seconds is the default. Only an administrator can change your status. I could change it to 600 seconds if you would prefer.

Unfortunately Luke we are under constant attack from Satan's minions. So until the DOF has completed it's file on you, they are rather strict on here. After all, you can see how much unsaved scum come on here claiming to be disciples of the Lord at first only to turn out to be God-mocking atheists.

If you are who you say you are, please be patient.

Although the bible never actually said "Patience is a virtue," God did often talk about us waiting until the timing is right. Not easy when you have two toddlers running around and a bub screaming for a bottle. Tho 5 minutes does give me time to get it ready for the little fella. Back soon.

Well good afternoon Luke and a warm welcome to you.

You certainly appear to be a nice enough chap and I look forward to getting to know you better.

I used to live in Sydney myself, on the north side. Admittedly I did not frequent your church, but was with Emmanuel Baptist. My ex brother in law was a Pastor at, if memory serves a Baptist Church in Dee Why. (I say ex brother in law as my first husband is deceased).

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your wife and my condolences go out to you and your sons. It is wonderful that your wife brought you to the Lord and as you know, she is now safe in Him.

Oh boy, this is too difficult. The boys are very energetic and need my undivided attention. I will return after I have put them in bed. Dinner, baths and bedtime stories first.
