I don't believe any of it. I think it is used as a tourism draw card.

It does sound very much like the same sort of myth as Nessie, I was just asking one who spends time close to the river if you had ever seen anything, same as I would ask someone who spent a lot of time near Loch Ness.Originally posted by Disciple Luke View PostIf you are suggesting we have a Loch Ness type of monster in Australia then I think you must have pickled your brain with too much fermented pasta sauce.
Mr Gilroy, who has been searching for Sydney's beast since 1965, said he believed it was a plesiosaur from the Jurassic period.

Welcome Magdalena
With a little help from our Good Pastors and Ladies of Landover I am sure that you will fit in here.
What sort of pies do you bake and do you have any housekeeping tips to share? (This might attract the attention of a potential True Christian™ husband
)

John, my 4 year old, loves Jesus and has been asked to be baptised. Obviously he is too young, but it is really cute when we go to baptisms and he tells others that his turn will come. We have a nice spot on the Hawkesbury river that we do full immersion baptisms.

Re: Hi there, everyone!
Glory, you need to be Baptized for real! And not in one of those cheesy bathtub-things they have hidden behind a trap door or something in the Church, but in a real, raging river. You need to get wet all over, let the Spirit overcome you. Especially if it's 'nipply' out, as I'm told they say in Canada.Originally posted by Magdalena View PostI was baptized protestant but not raised it, and then chose to start attending a Baptist church when I was 14.

Of course!Originally posted by BelieverInGod View PostWere you rebapized by the Baptist church?
Oh my goodness all at the same time I feel silly for not having mentioned it but I thought it was a given. What kind of backwards "Baptists" wouldn't rebaptize me?
Oh, stupid me though.
