I don't believe any of it. I think it is used as a tourism draw card.

It does sound very much like the same sort of myth as Nessie, I was just asking one who spends time close to the river if you had ever seen anything, same as I would ask someone who spent a lot of time near Loch Ness.

Mr Gilroy, who has been searching for Sydney's beast since 1965, said he believed it was a plesiosaur from the Jurassic period.

    Welcome Magdalena

With a little help from our Good Pastors and Ladies of Landover I am sure that you will fit in here.

What sort of pies do you bake and do you have any housekeeping tips to share? (This might attract the attention of a potential True Christian™ husband )

Not very world wise in the other cults of Elohim are you Zekie Boy?

Even a "Pasta Loving Pirate" like me knows of the head wetting antics of those like the CofE

Glory, you need to be Baptized for real! And not in one of those cheesy bathtub-things they have hidden behind a trap door or something in the Church, but in a real, raging river. You need to get wet all over, let the Spirit overcome you. Especially if it's 'nipply' out, as I'm told they say in Canada.

    Of course!

Oh my goodness all at the same time I feel silly for not having mentioned it but I thought it was a given. What kind of backwards "Baptists" wouldn't rebaptize me?

    Oh, stupid me though.
