    Hi there, everyone!

I suppose it would be easier to make some friends here if I gave everyone something to work with by introducing myself.

I am 20 years old and live in Canada. I attend First Baptist Church regularly. When I was younger I used to attend an Anglican church but they allowed some horrible sinning pot head youths to play music at mass and their youth group had nothing to do with Christ at all.

I was baptized as an infant but did not find Jesus until I was about 12 years old. I had a dream, (and I know it was only a dream,) in which Jesus came to me and warned me of all the evils I would face from then on, as I was becoming an adult and would have to see far more trials and work harder to stay on the path of righteousness.

In my spare time I cook and bake. I enjoy these forums because everyone is so obviously genuine AND Christian. That's fairly difficult to find!

That's true, Magdalena. It is hard to find a group of real, authentic Christians in this dark and Satanized world. You are indeed lucky to have found us.

It's true that the path of righteousness is beset with many trials, but at least there is Heaven at the end.

Welcome to the forum Magdalena, it's always nice to see more good Christian wives on this forum.

I hope you're not having too much trouble with the eskimos trying to steal your children up there in Canuckistan. Speaking of children, how many Warriors for Christ have you and your husband produced?

Yes, the godless liberals have a history of allowing such ungodly activities in their churches. It's best to stay away from those types as much as you can.

By the way, do you mind sharing with us some of your favorite scripture?

          Re: Hi there, everyone!

I regret to inform everyone that I am not married yet. I hope to be soon, however!

There was a man who told me he would like to marry me, but then he also told me that he would like me to wear more revealing clothes out in public (something about showing off the beauty God gave me) and as much as I would like to obey my [future] husband, I simply refuse to show my knees to all the lascivious men out there. That and it's chilly up here. My love for Christ would keep me warm of course, but I'd still feel like a trollop showing off my goose pimples to everyone.

*sigh* Maybe one day I will meet a good Christian man. I just want someone to cook for.

Brother Alex, some of my favourite scripture is in my signature. I like it because it breaks it down so simply that even the biggest idiot could understand how to get to Heaven.

          I also enjoy
Proverbs 3:11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

It helps to keep me on the right path when I face temptation.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

I was baptized protestant but not raised it, and then chose to start attending a Baptist church when I was 14.

                    Of course!

Oh my goodness all at the same time I feel silly for not having mentioned it but I thought it was a given. What kind of backwards "Baptists" wouldn't rebaptize me?

                    Oh, stupid me though.

Glory, you need to be Baptized for real! And not in one of those cheesy bathtub-things they have hidden behind a trap door or something in the Church, but in a real, raging river. You need to get wet all over, let the Spirit overcome you. Especially if it's 'nipply' out, as I'm told they say in Canada.

I hope you're not from British Columbia eh? That's not really Canada but rather part of hippie Cascadia along with pagan Oregon and Washington, all pot-smoking losers there.

                              Hello Magdalena.

John, my 4 year old, loves Jesus and has been asked to be baptised. Obviously he is too young, but it is really cute when we go to baptisms and he tells others that his turn will come. We have a nice spot on the Hawkesbury river that we do full immersion baptisms.
