Hello,
My name is Reila (pronounced like rayla), and I'm 21 years old. I recently graduated from the Marvel college of hair design and aesthetics and curently work part time as a hair stylist and part time as a make up artist. I also write and play music in my spare time.
I was raised by atheist parents, but always felt like something was missing from my life. My mother has recently decided that the Pagan path is right for her, and my father died 3 years ago (suicide, I miss my daddy dearly). I feel like I need to find the right path for me, and I was hoping you lovely folks would help me to do that.
Hope thats enough for an intro, if you want to know anything else just ask.

You need to immediately get a King James Bible, 1611 version, and begin reading the Word. It is only through knowing what God expects, and following His commandments EXACTLY, that you can redeem your soul.

Are you married? Do you have your husband's permission to visit this Web site? (This is necessary....)

Do you understand you will have to cut all ties to your mother? Jesus said that HE will be your family, and you must choose between His righteousness, or the earthly, temporary, bonds of hell-bound relatives.

This is a lot to consider, but the rewards of eternity in Heaven doing the likes of Pat Nixon's hair, versus hot curling irons inserted in every orifice forever is pretty clear.

I don't really want to never see my mother again, with my father dead, she is the only parent I have. I think it's time for a little tough-love. Please accept this in the spirit which it is intended.

You seem to think you can work Jesus into your schedule, like a holy hair appointment book, and if there isn't an opening for Him, then He can take a number. You must make time for Jesus FIRST, then all the rest will fall into place.

You don't want to do THIS, waaah, you don't have time for THAT, whaaa....your career, your mother-problems, your hippie guitar strings, they all seem to come before the Lord in your life. With the number of men in this world that are complete creeps, I am honestly scared to date. I'm hardly a strong person, only 5'4" and 105lbs, any man could easily over power me. I'm quite happy to be working as a hairstylist and make up artist, it's good money and there is always an opportunity to meet interesting people, though I would have liked to work in music and I'm a very good guitarist.

Without a father to find a good True Christian(tm) man for you, what you should be doing is contacting a local Baptist pastor in your area who can find a decent single man within his congregation who is willing to wed damaged goods like you (no insult intended, I was damaged goods too before Christ fixed me up).

Do not give up ties with your family, embrace it, love each other and support each other through these difficult times.

Dear Reila,

There is a cure for all illnesses. It's called prayer.

You see, all diseases and medical conditions are caused by demonic possessions. If you only accept Jesus and pray for a cure He WILL cast those demons out and heal your illness just as He healed the possessed woman in Luke 13:11-12:

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

If you accept Jesus and follow His entire word (James 2:10) you will be greatly rewarded. If, however, you choose not to follow His word you will be sent straight on a pathway to hell.

Mark 16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Bear this warning in mind and choose wisely.

This is reiterated by Paul in 2 Corinthians when he writes.

15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

Many false Christians have taken this to mean only in the context of marriage, but its Old Testament source is unimpeachable.

This is further reinforced in 2 John when he writes.

10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

I am no expert in Scripture, but i have a pretty good image of Christs' message

there is no contradiction with Luke and Paul, she is a woman. Woman is created in the image and likeness of God, just because she cannot bare children does not make her less of a person than anyone else, or even put her close to the lines of being broken? She does not need a man in her life for her to be treated fairly and with respect.

Yes obviously love and honour your parents, but im sure she shouldn't kill her which sounds like what your implying? If there is a disagreement with their Faith, completely abandoning one another isn't going to solve anything. It will most likely break them apart further, and take them both further from God.

What authority does this place have to say what the Scriptures mean?

What makes you think my soul is in great peril?
