Son, the Bible is a scant 2,000 years old. Compare that to eternity. The KJV re-write in to modern english is only 400 years old.A fruit fly lives 24 hours. A five year old child thinks 20 years old is old, a 80 year old man thinks 100 years is old. The reality is, is it is all just a blink and in fact, nothing really changes. The Bible is just as accurate and timely today as it was when it was originally penned and the ink still wet. You'll see, once you are a little older and mature.

Son, the Bible is a scant 2,000 years old. Compare that to eternity. The KJV re-write in to modern english is only 400 years old.A fruit fly lives 24 hours. A five year old child thinks 20 years old is old, a 80 year old man thinks 100 years is old. The reality is, is it is all just a blink and in fact, nothing really changes. The Bible is just as accurate and timely today as it was when it was originally penned and the ink still wet. You'll see, once you are a little older and mature.

What of the virgin birth of Mary? Should that be updated because it is "scientifically impossible"?

Just one example of a not-so-modern take from God's Word. Basically, it says men are in charge. Do I like that fact? Not always. But God is unchanging and His Word is unchanging. If I want to be saved, I obey God. It's very simple.

God did not say that men are in charge now, but when people get fancy with central heating and running water and zip around real fast in funny chariots that don't have horses hitched to the front of them, THEN women get to be in charge, too.

God created us different and He has set forth different responsibilities and requirements for different people. The Bible has all the information needed for living a Godly life. And it has a clear response to every idea that you have expressed.

If you believe in God, why don't you obey Him? And if you obey Him, you read and FOLLOW the Bible. Anything else is disobedience or unbelief.

Oh, by the way, you know who believes in God and disobeys Him?
