Hello, through the maze of this thing called the Internets, I hope to have found a new reliable group of friends. I seem to be baffled by the amount of expertise and knowledge present on this forum!

I am Belgarian, living in the conservative Western part of the country. Both my parents and grand-parents are devoted Catholics. For many years my mother gave catholic class, preparing children of 12 years old for their Confirmation.

I am active in a Catholic youth movement and I like photography. I like traveling and making photographs of all the beautiful churches I visit.

It isn't that we don't "love" Mary. It's your worshipping her as an idol that is offensive to the Lord. Mary is a dead human, just like all your other saints. Praying to or through them is sinful. The Lord commands we have no other gods before HIM. It's really very simple.

What do you mean about "unloved"??

Mary was Jesus' mother and as the mother of our savior we dearly love her.
But make no mistake, unlike you heathen papist we do not worship her as a god. The bible clearly states that theres only one God, a fact all catlicks seems to have forgotten.

You do not need to edit your introduction, all you need to do is to reject your false religion, and surrender your self to the Lord. A good start would be to read the King James Version of the Holy Book.

Pastor, I received your message, and, I'm willing to drop all negative insults if you and I can have a civilized conversation where you can answer my questions and you can answer mine. My questions will be without spite, I simply want to know your thoughts on certain aspects of faith, I realize you're a True Christian, but, would you be willing to talk to me?
