    Just a quick little intro:

The name's William. I was born August 24, 1980. I work for an insurance agency (repetitive work, but it's honest work) and I'm praying that I'll find a new job that I like. My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 1:18 (in my signature). I use to vote Democrat (until Obama ran, then I switched to Republican)
    Any questions? Just ask.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

    Welcome to God's favorite forum.

An introduction isn't really a question and answer session. Please tells us about yourself, your church, and your relationship with Jesus.

Hi William, may I call you Will? Great!

Well William, it is nice to have you here. I look forward to hearing about your family. How many sons have you? Perhaps my favorite part of meeting a new person to Landover is hearing their story of redemption. So many have had utterly depraved lives before they let God give them a bear hug and slather them with His Love. I bet your story is particular horrifying. Do not skip any details now.

Re: Just a quick little intro:

Well, I come from a Catholic family, but my family hardly ever went to church except for Christmas, Easter, weddings, and funerals. I'm not even sure of the name of the priest of my family's church. I haven't been since I graduated high school. (I always fell asleep during the few services a year my family went to anyway)
I've been to many churches since then, but I haven't gone for the past 5 years and I'm interested in starting again, preferably at a church with actual faith.
I'm unmarried but I am looking for a nice Christian lady to be with.
        Any more questions? Just ask.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

          Welcome William

I Praise Jesus for sending you to us to be Saved™ .

We have been encountering untold numbers of worthless unsaved trash in here lately so your arrival is both refreshing and encouraging

I note that your were once a dirty Cathlyk so I do hope that you were not raped / sodomized too many times

But alas none of that matters now as your are at God's favorite Ministry

          2 Samuel 22:31

          As for God, His way is perfect;
          The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

            Welcome indeed, William.

It's always a great thing to see ex-Papists finding God and Landover. I hope that Jesus is healing your physical, emotional and spiritual scars.

If you wish to unburden yourself to us about the horrible abuse you've suffered at the hands of the kiddie-fiddlers, don't hold back. We've heard it all.

Willy, welcome. Because you're an insurance man, maybe you can answer a question for me, something I've always wondered about.

Since God says that he knows what we need before we ask; that he will give anything, repeat ANYTHING, that we pray for; why do we need insurance? (Except, of course, that which is required by law, as we are commanded to obey civil authority). I don't have health insurance or fire insurance because it would show a lack of faith in God. Aren't you actually selling sin? I place my faith in the Lord, and pray that His will be done. If that includes my house burning down, with me in it, then so be it. He may have a purpose that He chooses not to share, or is testing me like He did Job.

              Thank you.
Leviticus 13:44 He is a leprous man, he is UNCLEAN: the priest shall pronounce him utterly UNCLEAN; his plague is in his head.

2 Kings 6:25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.

Weren't you ever afraid of the other male parishoners trying to touch your weiner when you were asleep? Did you ever talk to any statues?

You make a valid point Brother Landoverlover,

Perhaps Brother William only sells insurance to despicable Cathlyks, and Atheists and other such worthless enemies of God

As they are all going to Hell anyway it may not be a sin to receive monies in this manner. In addition if some of the money was tithed that would surely amount to any potential sin being negated and thus cleansed by Jesus himself

                  Pastoral calrification may be required

You know, there could be quite a business opportunity there.

You could scan the newspapers for news of births to cathylicks (there are always lots of them) and go to sell them sexual abuse insurance.

Then again, I don't suppose that'd work because they'd all claim.

I always thought Insurance sales people are like witches and scourers because they make predications if something evil happens and take your money.

They also refuse to pay compensation money for things that are an act of God.

Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
