Hello my fellow Christians, it is so nice to be here! I have finally found a good place on the Internet to talk with people who have the same ideas and beliefs.

I won't say much about myself but...

I am a Ukrainian, I was born in Korosten, Ukraine but I moved to Canada in the 1990s and I have never regretted it. Despite that I am still proud to be Ukrainian.

I am a born again believe in Jesus Christ and have been for 14 years.

My birth language is not English so I often make errors when typing. I am sorry for this.

I look forword to talking with all of the other Christians here!

Everyone starts off as unsaved trash. Through hard work, perseverance, and strong observation of the Holy Bible, it is possible to move up.

What church do you attend? What are your favorite Bible verses? How many sons have your wife borne you?

I go to the First Baptist Church in Halifax (website).

I love all bible verses, and I have yet to fully read the bible in English (I still have my Ukrainian bible) however a few I like are...

Matthew 7:7, Proverbs 1:7, 1 Peter 5:6 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

I have more but those were the some of the first I thought of.

I am not married and because of that I do not have children, yet. I am in a relationship and I may finally get married after waiting for many years.

Since you are new here please look at our please read this before posting and our your rights on this forum threads! If you already did that, just do it again. There you can learn that this forum is not about debating or unsaved opinions but about praising Jesus!

Welcome! We don't get many Baptist Ukrainian Canadians here, so I took a moment to check out your church. I came across this:

Our Vision: First Baptist Church will be a Christ-centered community of diverse people experiencing God’s unconditional love and acceptance, finding opportunities to grow and nurture our faith, and sharing that love, acceptance and faith with the world.

Sometimes when a place branches off from the main office and has outposts a long ways away, the local leaders can "go native" and stray from the right path. I'm wondering when your church says it's "inclusive" - does that mean it accepts homosexuals? When your church is "ecumenical" - does that mean it consorts with Lutherans and Methodists and Catholics and such? When your church practices "acceptance" - are there retarded people and black people and so forth in the congregation?
