    Re: My humble introduction

    Welcome, brother.

Verily, you're most articulate - and the measure of your words remind me of a very reverent psalm:

    Psalm 19:14
"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer."

Sadly, in today's sin-enabled world, the homers have also adopted a reputation for being of the articulate, and somewhat fancy, persuasion. I think that it might bring about a judgmental and cautious eye from your peers; but we're all aware that, even if homersexuality was the case, it's a completely treatable condition/reversible life choice.

I suppose I can be a touch pragmatic at times. I'll say a special prayer for you and your wife tonight.
I will also pray about your situation and pray that your wife will bare many sons for you.

Thank you for your heartwarming welcome Nurse Clampett.

I think my near death experience was closely related to Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. I am unaware of the religions views of those two gentleman but the names certainly do sound anglo saxon to me. As for the shooter, I was a completely amoral sinner at the time and had little concern for the religious or world views of my associates, including my attacker.

Thank you again Nurse Clampett for your gracious welcome!

My heart is filled with joy that the LORD has brought you to our forum to solidify your walk with Christ. I look forward to much fellowship and mutual exhortation with you.
            II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J.
