The Spring Heeled Jack is every person that's ever had to watch a woman get mugged by a street thug while the law stands by and does nothing. The Spring Heeled Jack is the store owner whose store was robbed by hoods while the cops were sitting on their butts playing virtual bowling on their Game Boys. The Spring Heeled Jack is the tax payer who comes home every night from work to see more and more junkies and prostitutes huddled on the stoop outside his apartment building.

The Spring Heeled Jack is every person that's ever seen the moral decay in our post-modern metropolis and decided it was time to do something about it.

I am the Spring Heeled Jack.

The law is helpless to fight this scum, and in most cases they don't even care.

I've watched as my town has descended into Hell these last few years, and I've decided to take the law into my own hands. With an election for Sheriff in November I've asked Officer Richards if he is on the side of justice or on the side of more failed policies. In exchange I've offered to unmask and turn myself in upon his election, but he's rejected me. It would seem, for the time being, that Officer Richards has no interest in cleaning up the streets of Freehold, and is just going to keep the boat from rocking.

This town needs a hero. If Officer Richards isn't going to step up, I guess I'm the only one who can.
