    Re: Hello!

    My parents chose the name because it is a biblical name, this is what is of importance. Miriam is the source of the names Mary and Maria, and the source of Miriam is the bible.

    Exodus 15:21

    And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he throwen into the sea.
    Genesis 2:18
    And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an HELP MEET for him.

          Re: Hello!

          I do like knitting.

          I knitted a cat for my friend Samuel Jeremiah Esau once.

          I also knitted a dog for my friend Eryn.
          it only had one eye like her pet dog who only has one eye.

          do you knit?

          I can't crochet though.

          my friend Danie, she can crochet like nobodies business.

          she crochets all kinds of things.

            Welcome Miriam.

            Do you have your own KJV1611 ?
            2 Samuel 22:31

            As for God, His way is perfect;
            The word of the LORD is proven;
            He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

              I knit a lot, I'm trying to learn crochet now, I have an older sister that is almost an expert but it's hard to find time in which she can teach me since she got married two years ago.

              I do not own my own KJV1611, I use my family KJV1611. My father said that he will give me my own when I get married.

                Re: Hello!

                This place sounds like a hen house! You women want to talk about nothing, go to the womens section. It has gotten to where a man cannot think!
                Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
                Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
                Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
                Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
                Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
                Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
