Hello fellow Christians, my name is Miriam, my father thought it was a good idea for me to join a nice Christian forum so that I could get some more friends. I am homeschooled, and I live in a small town in Alberta. I like cooking more then anything, but I happily help my mother with taking care of the house and my siblings.

My biggest dream is that I may serve the lord by getting married, bear kids for my husband, take care of the home and treat him with respect.

How did you come to be saved? Has your father negotiated to obtain a husband for you? Can he afford a good dowry?

My father and my mother raised me properly, I have always had Jesus as my friend. My father has not found me a husband yet, there ain't that many good Christians around here in Canada. I don't know if he can afford a good dowry or not, I have never asked my father because economy is not for women and in the end, it is not my business, just between my father and my future husband.

Welcome young lady. Has your father filed the requisite permission slip with the Church office? Please give us teh serial number as we ned to verify it.

From the looks of you, you are well into your marriage years. What is the hold up? Time is a-wasting. A girl like you is worth maybe 50 sheckels, possibly less because you are from a frozen wasteland and only know how to cook blubber.

Well if you're going to find a Christian Husband, at least you're in the right province for it. Perhaps he should start looking around Calgary, you didn't say what part of the province you were from.

Indeed, I did not say which province, my father says me not to because there is crazy atheists on the internet, and a woman can never be too careful when she is giving out personal information. I do long for caring for a husband, but I do not question my fathers plans for me.

Wow, finding a good Christian in Canada is like trying to find a sober irishman. You may want to consider moving to Freehold, and surrounding area where good Christians abound.

I really like making Shepherd's pie, and even though I like making pie, there is nothing as satisfying as getting up 5 in the morning to put the dough in the oven, so that when you family wakes up, they wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread.

I for one, simply adore a fresh, unplucked cherry pie. Hot and steaming, juices oozing, teasing my taste buds. I could bury my face in one all day, if it is fresh. Nothing like pie juice in a man's beard to make him smile.

Praise Jesus that you follow Him! But I must ask. Are you an improved (perfected) joo or were your parents just not aware that Miriam is a hebe name?
