  • I am unworthy of being here

I am unworthy of being in the presence of true Christians such as yourselves. I joined these forums because I am appalled at the state of our society. They tell me I have to accept homosexuality but since the Bible tells me homosexuality is an abomination, I refuse to do so and am therefore shunned. This surely is wrong?

Leviticus 18:22: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination."

I truly wish we could these days see true Christian ways of dealing with this abomination, but of course if you do so the 'secular' police and judiciary will persecute you if you are a true Christian.

Tell me, what other things do you see that you find appalling? Or are you another one-note wonder like those liberals at Westboro Baptist, who are obsessed with the gays and ignore depravities like adultery, fornication, Justin Bieber, murder, theft, building of homes without parapets, blended fabrics, women leading churches, Michael Moore, and the like?
                Bible boring? Nonsense!

Your opinion was not insightful or wanted. Stop trying to ruin other peoples introduction threads.

Welcome, Matthew! Which church do you attend?

A woman came up to me the other day, 12/6/2016 and said:
"But Mr. Winner, if GOD loves everyone then why is there so much suffering in the world?"

Because GOD doesn't love everyone. Too many people have this absurd idea in their heads that GOD is all loving.
If he was all loving, then murderers, thieves and homosexuals would be waiting for you in Heaven.

GOD doesn't open his gate to just anyone. Being a True Christian™ is like a Queue Jump ticket at Disney, we are guaranteed a ride with JESUS.

Friend, before we are saved we are all unworthy:

                      Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I am Saved not because I am worthy of it, because everyone deserves to burn in Hell forever, but just because God decided to be nice and kill His son to save me, despite the fact that all humans are terrible people, because that's just how nice He is. Praise Him! I will pray for Him to decide to save you too, even though you don't deserve it.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Inglo35 the bible (KJV 1611) warns against the false janglers:

                        1 Timothy 4
4Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Trust in the LORD will serve you well! Welcome!!!
                        1 Timothy 5
23 No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.
