We spent last month in Idaho on vacation and as per usual I got singled out by TSA for a complete security check. It does not matter when/where I fly, I am always singled out whether flying somewhere for pleasure or business. This was going on even before 9/11. My wife thinks I am red tagged on a computer somewhere.

That is the reason I never ever fly on a commercial air line!

my blasting permit was revoked after some explosives mysteriously disappeared from my storage and were later found to have been used in an attempt to blow up an abortion clinic in Des Moines.

I've been red-flagged since 1997, so I know where you are coming from. On the way home from the mission to Australia I was expecting the usual: The customs officer marks my ticket with his red pen and politely asks me to get into the shortest line of the day- I'm surrounded by hippies, Arabs, and nigras. Everyone else gets to go get their luggage and transfer to the next flight. Meanwhile, TSA monkeys rifle thru every piece of my luggage, even my dirty socks and underwear. They ask me suggestive questions expecting me to incriminate myself about whatever fantasy contraband they think I might have brought home with me.

This last time they even escalated their harassment by making me go into a private 'interview' room. This was a first for me. I was required to strip down to my shorts, and the agent even put his hands inside my shoes. I don't even do that. He should have put his gloves on, first.

Of course they didn't find anything. They must enjoy the sight of seeing an old man running to catch up to his connecting flight.

It makes me not even want to fly, anymore.

I don't personally hate them that much either, but what I personally think is irrelevant. Jesus hates them a lot for attempting to usurp His position, and I go along with what He thinks. Still, if socialist Big Government's made it illegal to execute Papists, then we certainly wouldn't advocate any illegal activity. Nevermind.

Hi, Ambrose, glad to have you onboard. I took a quick look at your church's website, and, while it looks like a fine, Bible-believing church, I do have a few questions for you:

We believe that Scripture is the final authority in faith and practice. This church recognizes that it cannot bind the conscience of individual members in areas where Scripture is silent. Rather, each believer is to be led in those areas by the Lord, to Whom he or she alone is ultimately responsible. We believe that every Christian’s purpose in life is to glorify God, grow in Christ, and help believers and unbelievers to grow towards Christ. We also believe that Scripture teaches faithful management of our resources.

When you say that Scripture cannot bind the conscience of individual members in areas where Scripture is silent, this isn't some secret code for saying that gay marriage or abortion is OK, is it?

We believe there will be a resurrection of the body for all people, and a judgment that will determine the fate of each individual. Unbelievers will be eternally separated from God and believers will be received into eternal communion with God and will be rewarded for works done in this life.

The wording here is a little funny. By "eternally separated from God," you mean burning in Hell, right? Because that's what happens to sinners who don't accept Jesus. Your church does preach the literal tortures of Hell, doesn't it?
