Sorta an Intro I guess

Mmmkay So I joined this site to talk some positive God
NO MUD SLINGING PLEASE!

Heres the thing I'm a hard working 23 Year Old Female, I've worked hard for everything Ive owned and I give thanks to God for everything I have and thank him that I am where I am today.
I was Baptized at birth, I am not a Christian or anything But I do believe in God, I'm a good person and I am very accepting of everyone.

Favorite Bible quote is- Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

Favourite Bible song- Jesus loves the little children

I Believe God loves us no matter what, no matter what race we are, or what do in this life, and that only he has the right to decide where I stand when I leave this earth.
And I believe Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and my aunt says that by him paying the ulimet price he has paid for our sins, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't disrespect God! we should respect and love him, and we should love one another respect each other aswell... After we are all human.

We all have a beating heart, We all love our loved ones, we all all have the same feelings, they may not all be the exact same but I'm sure we all know what love or pain feels like.

I don't believe anyone is superior to anyone else on this earth, (at though sometimes as humans we like to think so) but the only one who is superior to us in every way is God.

I have skimmed some of theses posts and no offence but I don't like the labels you guys have giving the users, calling them trash and stuff, It's not very nice. If they were being ignorant and disrespectful or anything all you had to do was block them off the site, not give them nasty labels. I'm sorry I know it is not my business but really why do you guys do this and how would you like it if someone put a nasty label on you?

I also read a post where someone was talking about getting hurt and another user said God was punishing them, honestly you don't know that, Maybe he is, but I don't think God punishes people like that... If a highly religious man with a family looses his job, is God punishing him too? I don't think it's fair of anyone to make a judgment on Gods judgment.

Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?

If anyone is goin to reply with nasty things telling me Satan is goin to kill me or God will send me into a pit of fire, for what I believe in, then please don't reply! I am not mocking God, I simply wish discuss.
I am not hurting anyone or swinging mud in anyones eye so please don't start here.

Re: Sorta an Intro I guess

Welcome. I think you have a long path ahead of you in becoming a True Christian.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Well OK, but you know where we are in the future.
It may be perhaps you aren't reading the correct Bible or maybe you are not taking in what God is telling you?
All of your answers are written there for you to understand.

I Believe God loves us no matter what, no matter what race we are, or what do in this life, and that only he has the right to decide where I stand when I leave this earth.
Why do you believe that? What do you base your beliefs on? I'm genuinely curious.
And I believe Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and my aunt says that by him paying the ulimet price he has paid for our sins, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't disrespect God! we should respect and love him
Agreed. Also, we shouldn't make up lies about Him.
and we should love one another respect each other aswell...
Agreed. I am full of love and respect for my fellow Born-Again Independent Fundamentalist Baptist brethren.
After we are all human.

We all have a beating heart, We all love our loved ones, we all all have the same feelings, they may not all be the exact same but I'm sure we all know what love or pain feels like.
Also, we are all cursed with original sin, and we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, so all humans deserve to go to Hell.
I don't believe anyone is superior to anyone else on this earth, (at though sometimes as humans we like to think so) but the only one who is superior to us in every way is God.
Yes, and those who obey His commands and allow His Spirit to flow through them are better than those who reject Him.
So that they can realise their behaviour is problematic and change their ways in future. How are they supposed to stop behaving in self-destructive ways if we refuse to draw their attention to their problems and discuss them honestly and openly?
I also read a post where someone was talking about getting hurt and another user said God was punishing them, honestly you don't know that, Maybe he is, but I don't think God punishes people like that...
Why don't you think that? The Bible definitely indicates that He behaves like that, so what source are you basing this on?
If a highly religious man with a family looses his job, is God punishing him too?
If he follows one of the false religions like Islam or Catholicism, then yes, definitely. If he's a True Christian, then God's just testing his faith.
I don't think it's fair of anyone to make a judgment on Gods judgment.
Then why do you do it? Saying that you "don't think God punishes people like that" definitely sounds like judging to me.
He might do any of those things. Or just ignore their prayer. Or do whatever else He wants. He's God. I don't think it's fair of anyone to make a judgment on God's response to prayer.
If anyone is goin to reply with nasty things telling me Satan is goin to kill me or God will send me into a pit of fire, for what I believe in, then please don't reply!
Friend, I am upset that you would try to deny us our freedom of speech.
I am not mocking God, I simply wish discuss.
How can we have an honest discussion if you start off by telling us what we can and can't say?

I do hope you'll realise that the Salvation of your immortal soul is anything but a waste of time.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
