    Greetings from England

    Hi,
I'm really happy to have found your church. I'm a 50 something lady, living in London and have recently found Jesus.
I can't believe that for so long I was living in the twin valleys of despair and moral turpitude but that's all changed now, for me AND my partner.

Most of your members seem to live in the USA, I suppose, but to us Brits, you're a former colony and we still love you.

    Up, up with people,
You meet them where-ever you go.
    PRAISE HIM.
    Maria

    Re: Greetings from England

    A cautious hello,

May I ask you, why you believe Jesus lead you to God's Favorite Forum.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Just what do you mean by "partner"?

    YIC

    Mrs Phebe Dewitt.

    There's Jesus here,
Just see what He offers me....
    Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!

Please tell us more of your moral turpitude shortcomings.

Photographs would help decide the extent of salvation you will need. You don't have to post them directly here, you can send them to me in a private message.

I will share them with our men's G.A.P.E. organization and we will make a recommendation to the Pastors.

So Maria, how long have you been a catlick? Do you find it uncomfortable praying to someone with the same name? You are very fortunate the lord of the house allows you to use the internet. Speaking of which, are you aware the US of A invented the internet?
I find it so gracious of you to allow the US to continue forward. We are so very fortunate you have not squashed us like bugs. Oh wait, we did have a battle, you lost miserably. Then there was another battle, make that two battles (WWI and WWII) that we had to save you from your ineptitude.

When you say you are fifty, you must have produced many fine sons for Jesus. I find it odd your husband allows you to call him you 'partner'.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

          Re: Greetings from England

Many thanks for your warm welcome and friendly questions. I was born again on 07/01/2010. I was relaxing in my hotel room, thumbing through the Gideon bible and came across 'He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years' (Relevations 20.2).
This was a real eye opener as I was playing with Vergil, the drippy dragon, not fifteen minutes before.
A clear and personal message from Heaven, obviously. Needless to say, I gave up my self-satisfying ways there and then, donated Vergil and the Xenogen to my local charity shop and have since then been on my knees praising Him (well, when I can).
Off to church now, it being Sunday. I'll pray for all you fine people.
          Maria.

            Maria.
I barely understood a word of that. I do know though that Virgil is one of those Thunderbirds.

What were you doing with a wooden puppet in a hotel room reading a FALSE Bible? And WHO are you praising now? Virgil?

Ah, Sister Phebe. I notice that you may suffer from a slight bit of dyslexia. May God in his goodness cure you soon.
              Its Vergil, with an 'E'.

What is the name of the fine Baptist Church you attend with your husband. Are you children Christian as well? What do you think about stoning in general?

It is MRS PHEBE DEWITT to you and I am sure that Virgil from the Thunderbirds is spelt with "I's only as the vowels.

Perhaps your confusion comes from reading a false Bible. The KJV1611 is the ONLY True word of God.

I can assure you it wasn't Virgil from Thunderbirds that I was having so much fun with.
By the way, are you the same Mrs. P. Dewitt that was named in the unfortunate Enumclaw rooster incident?

Keep your distance Brother Tannor, Pogomorphonre is a lesbo, a real live rug muncher. And I hope she is not going to hit on my wife. Phebe does not care for her kind.

I doubt it. I do admit I have plucked a few pheasants in my time, but never had any ado with a rooster.

I think her name should be potsofmorphine as she is making no sense at all!

That and the fact she is having her house painted and living with a lebanese woman... something to do with Thunderbirds is happening also...

It is a good thing I am heading to the Church right now. I need a break from all this malarky, nonsense and shenanigans.

James, I will see you at the 11am Service as I will you Brother Tannor.
