I see, you haven't ever read the Bible.

First of all, God makes it clear that some people are lower in His eyes than others. For example, Jesus initially refused to help a Greek woman whose daughter had a demon, telling her that it wasn't right to give the children's bread to the dogs. Yes, He was calling her inferior, subhuman, a dog. Only when she debased herself and begged Him, saying that even the dogs eat the crumbs the children drop, did He reluctantly agree to help her.

Mark 7. Also, Matthew 15. Read it.

As for "neighbour", I have a little homework for you to do. I want you to go to either bible.com or biblegateway.com. Set it to the King James Version, and search "neighbour".

See what it means in context. There are three common meanings; I'll let you find out what they are.

You will soon realize that not one of them means "anybody and everybody". In fact, not only is that not a common meaning; it's not the meaning even once.

You may also wish to search "hate". This way, you can find out who the Lord hates, and who He commands us to hate. The Bible informs us much more about who God hates than who He loves; He only loves those who obey Him completely. Everyone else, He will torture for all eternity in a Lake of Fire.

You don't think of that as "love", do you?

Now, your selected post does not demonstrate what you accused us of, which is cherry-picking verses for personal gain. Try again.

Your logic is strange. I did not try to claim it is the OPPOSITE of what he said. I'm saying it is not the case that EVERYTHING not of God is of satan, because if so, everything that man created is of satan. Really, I'd say the clothing part of it would possibly be of satan. At least sinful. Think "Genesis". It's not just the name of an awesome gaming console. Think with your brain, not with whatever hatred gland you are using.

BTW, I've seen a lot of racial bigotry on these forums. Bigotry is hate, and hate is the opposite of love. What happened to love thy neighbor?

Have read the entire Bible at least a few times

Can demonstrate where we have cherry-picked

Anyway, I came here because of people picking little bits of the Bible to refer to for their own personal gain. I don't know what they're saying at your church, but last time I checked, "cafeteria christianity" is an easy one-way ticket to Hell.
