Lying about what the Bible says

To answer your questions (note, I respond only with the Bible, not my opinion. Learn to do the same):

    1) God hates many, many people. Most of humanity in fact. Haven't you read the Bible?

Leviticus 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I [God] abhorred them.

Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou [God] hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Proverbs 6:16, 19 These six things doth the LORD hate ... A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Hosea 9:15 I [God] hated them: for the wickedness of their doings.

Malachi 1:3 And I [God] hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I [God] hated.

    2) No, in fact, God DOES want most people to go to hell. God's will is ALWAYS done. Why don't you accept that? The Bible tells us that God in fact creates people to go to hell, and hardens their hearts and confuses them with lies so they can never be saved, because He hates them. Haven't you read the Bible?

"God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned." -- 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation." -- Jude 4

Proverbs 16:4 The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Romans 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

    3) God didn't send His Son for everyone. Only a few. Haven't you read the Bible?

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." That says God loves everyone, right? Wrong. Every so-called Christian in the world will cite John 3:16 as proof that God loves everyone. They don't have a clue what the verse means, and, under the guidance of the lying false prophets who make up the "Christian" landscape, twist it to mean what they want it to mean. We call that "wresting the scripture unto your own destruction." 2 Peter 3:16.

It seems that if you're going to base an entire lying theology on one part of a verse, you would at least know what the verse means. But so-called Christians today are far too simple-minded and lazy to look into the matter.

So we'll do it for you: the word translated "world" in John 3:16 is the Greek word "kosmos." The word never means "every individual of mankind who ever lived." In fact, the word has at least seven different meanings in the scripture, depending on the context in which it's used. It can mean Gentiles (as opposed to Jews); it can mean the world of believers; it can mean the world of unbelievers; it can mean the physical creation; etc. If you would actually read what the verse says, and read the context around the verse, you would find that the answer is right before your lying eyes - you just don't want to see it, because it conflicts with how your evil, dark hearts think God ought to be! The context is "the world of believers" (whether they are Jews or Gentiles). Those are the people God loves.

Those are the people for whom Jesus died. Jesus didn't come to condemn those people - He came to save them. But everyone else is already condemned, because they don't believe.

You'll say "but doesn't 'whosoever believes' mean that everybody has the chance to believe?" Nope. Turn a few pages to John 10 (you may be surprised to find that there is actually more to the Bible than John 3:16, but believe me, there is). You will find in John 10:11 that Jesus says "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." Later on in verse 26, Jesus says to some unbelievers: "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you." Uh oh - you John 3:16 heretics have a few problems on your hands. Jesus says He came to die for the sheep, and then proceeds to say that only His sheep can believe. In other words, only the people for whom Jesus died will believe.

Note that the reason that unbelievers don't believe is BECAUSE they are not His sheep. This passage explains who the world is in John 3:16, and it's clearly not everyone. Furthermore, the only people who can believe are the ones whom God has ordained to eternal life. "And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed." Acts 13:48. So, if you have been ordained to eternal life, that means that you will believe, you are one of God's sheep, God loves you, and He sent His Son to die for you so you wouldn't be condemned. If you have not been ordained to eternal life, that means you are not one of His sheep, you NEVER will believe and are already condemned.

What I've told you here is the only interpretation that makes sense, because that is the only interpretation that is consistent with the rest of the Scripture. For example, God hated Esau! Romans 9:13. And He didn't just hate him - He hated him before he was even born and had done neither good nor evil! Romans 9:11. If He hates a person, He doesn't love everyone. For another example, there are billions of people in hell. If He loves those people, what a peculiar way of showing it!

Our message to this evil world is that God hates you, and you better prepare for the return of Christ in power and glory. Jesus came the first time to save; and Jesus will come the second time in vengeance, because you do not obey the Gospel. It will be soon, and you will experience the wrath of the Lamb, face to face. (Deut. 7:10, Rev. 6:16).

Also see "God Loves Everyone" - The Greatest Lie Ever Told, which includes 701 passages from the Bible proving God's hatred and wrath for most of mankind.

    4) You have no choice in the matter. Don't lie now. Haven't you read the Bible?

    • John 15:16: "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you."
    • Acts 13:48: "And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed."
    • Romans 9:15-16: "For he says to Moses, 'I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.' So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy."
    • Romans 9:22-24: "What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessles of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make the riches of his glory for vessles of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory - even us whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?"
    • Ephesians 1:4-5: "even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,"
    • Ephesians 1:11: "In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,"
    • Philippians 1:29: "For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake"
    • 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5: "For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake."
    • 2 Thessalonians 2:13: "But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification [by the Spirit] and belief in the truth."
    • 2 Timothy 1:9: "who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,"

I eagerly await your response, which had better be based in the Bible and not your feelings, otherwise I will ignore it

No, your original "message" was an accusation that we cherry-pick Scripture for personal gain. You never demonstrated that; instead, you demonstrated that you have never read the Bible, and that you personally cherry-pick parts of verses that say what you want to hear, and ignore all the rest of God's Word.

The Lord provided us a Book. I'm sorry that you choose to ignore it. I can only hope that you will wake up from your feelgood dreams about the hippie "Jesus" you've created in your own mind before it is too late.

Otherwise, you will be in Hell yourself.

Incidentally, the Quran is blasphemous and heretical. It is of the devil, claiming Jesus is not the Son of God and denying His gift of Salvation to those who choose it. Burning the Quran is a good thing.

If I were new to this topic, here's what I'd see. On one side are people who know enough of the Bible to back up just about everything they say with extensive quotations of Scripture. On the other side is a person who consistently ducks questions about the Bible, quotes Scripture sparingly as though there weren't enough to go around, and skips key parts even when he does quote it. Which side should I believe, and why?

How is sending someone to Hell for an eternity "tough love"? Tough love is when you allow a consequence to happen to someone because it's the only way they'll learn. Like if your teenage son messes around with drinking, and you keep telling him to stop. Then he gets picked up by the cops and wants to be bailed out, but you leave him in there. Why? To teach him a lesson. You love him, but you're using tough love on him.

You, on the other hand, think that taking that teenage son and instead keeping him chained up in the basement for the rest of his life, complete with whippings and starvation, would constitute "tough love". There's no lesson to be learned...it's simply senseless, cruel punishment.

And senseless, cruel punishment is what God does to sinners by sending them to Hell. Why does He do that? Who are we to question His authority?

    2) He loves everyone and WANTS everyone to believe in him. Do you think he WANTS you to be evil and be damned to Hell? No. That's his punishment for not believing.
Funny how the Bible mentions specific people that God hates.

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
    Psalm 5:5-6

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth.
    Psalm 11:5

Tell me again, where does the "love everyone" part come in?

    3) He gave his only begotten son. Why? For everyone's sins. The love is there, it's their choice to accept it.
Yes, you make a good point about choice. It is up to us to accept Jesus Christ as our savior. If we do, we get eternal life. If not, Hell. It's really quite simple.

    4) Loved the world means loved the world. Not loved the perfect. If everyone believes in him, no one shall perish... Unless he did not love everyone.
Not everyone believes in Him, and nor did God ever intend everybody to believe in Him. Jesus tells us that only a few people will get into Heaven.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Notice Jesus didn't say there is some 8-lane expressway where everyone can go to Heaven. No, the wide road leads to Hell and the narrow one to Heaven.....and "few there be that find it."

I'm done here. I've taken all I could, you're too stubborn. BTW, hate is evil. Pure evil. If you're a christian, you should know that. You're going on YouTube. Congrats.

Resurrecting the dead so you may torture them for all eternity for not believing in you isn't love.
    2) He loves everyone and WANTS everyone to believe in him. Do you think he WANTS you to be evil and be damned to Hell? No. That's his punishment for not believing.
It is "love" to demand faith and then punish those unable to give it? You have very sick ideas of what love is.
    3) He gave his only begotten son. Why? For everyone's sins. The love is there, it's their choice to accept it.
No. For those who believe, ONLY for those who believe. AS YOU YOURSELF QUOTED.

What exactly have you "taken"? You have never read the Bible. You insist that you know God's Word while never having read it, and are upset that we will not abandon God's Word for some random teenager's fluffy-bunny hippy love god . . . the one that you created in your own mind, the one who thinks what YOU think he should think, the one who loves everyone YOU think he should love, and whom YOU named "Jesus".

    Please read the Bible, cherry-picker.

God hates many, and declares such in the Bible. Hatred therefore is not evil.

    Psalm 11:5
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Did you get that? HATES THE WICKED.

However, there is no man that I hate. I want people to see the error of their ways and come to Jesus, abandoning their lives of sin, so they may avoid eternal torture.

Where do you think evil comes from? Seriously? Do you think anything can exist in the world, if it is not God's Plan?

    Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

    GOD CREATES EVIL.

You actually believe that God loves all people, yet allows literally billions to grow up, live, and die never hearing the Gospel, meaning they must all spend eternity in Hell for simply being born in the wrong part of the world?

God knows all. He knows who will be Saved and who will not, before they are even born. He knows who will never learn of Him and will be damned from pure ignorance. Does He change it? No. Therefore, He must WANT them to go to Hell.

Fluffy bunny, read the Bible before telling others what it says, or who God is. All you are doing is giving sinners false hope and belief that they can continue in their lives of sin without infinite torture as punishment for finite sins.

    1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Oh, and YouTube? What, you're going to make a video demonstrating to the world that you have never read the Bible yet claim to know what it says?

First of all, God makes it clear that some people are lower in His eyes than others. For example, Jesus initially refused to help a Greek woman whose daughter had a demon, telling her that it wasn't right to give the children's bread to the dogs. Yes, He was calling her inferior, subhuman, a dog. Only when she debased herself and begged Him, saying that even the dogs eat the crumbs the children drop, did He reluctantly agree to help her.

Mark 7. Also, Matthew 15. Read it.

As for "neighbour", I have a little homework for you to do. I want you to go to either bible.com or biblegateway.com. Set it to the King James Version, and search "neighbour".

See what it means in context. There are three common meanings; I'll let you find out what they are.

You will soon realize that not one of them means "anybody and everybody". In fact, not only is that not a common meaning; it's not the meaning even once.

Now, your selected post does not demonstrate what you accused us of, which is cherry-picking verses for personal gain. Try again.

First of all, Landover Baptist has a strict zero tolerance policy when it comes to racism, and you should desist using hatespeech in this forum.

Second of all, if the words in the Bible don't mean what the words mean today, then how do you judge their meaning? It sounds to me like you just make up whatever meaning you like.
