    Hello, have a nice day

My name is Richard C. Mongler and as some of you experienced I am not that nice to you and I apologise for that, but people are very personal here and try to provoke me, but once I do that to them I just sometimes go a bit too far. Don't take me 100% serious when it comes to insults, I don't hate you, really, I'm white.

Also, oposition is natural against everything ranging from ideology to religion and from science to anything.

A positive effect is that by argueing that we can both strengthen out arguments, which is good!

I don't hate people here, (As I said, don't take it seriously when it comes to emotions) and I hope people don't hate me for what I am.

    Have a nice day
    C. Mongler.

Dear Mr Mongoloid keep your racist remarks to yourself. This is a serious forum, we have serious issues we discuss every day, we are constantly striving to find out what would Jesus do. Why are you here, clearly you do not Love Jesus.

We do not talk about the color of someones skin. I have never read a post that you have made where you stated that you love Jesus.

Well it seems that on this forum people tend to hate sandniggers and niggers in general as they are "slaves"

About what I said about Jesus, everyone's gotta start

            Mr Mongler,

I find it amusing that you assume your twee little comments have caused any one of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, including myself any emotional distress, as for that to happen, we would actually have to give a damn about what you think in the first place.

You are not the first mindless and disrespectful troll to clutter God's Favorite Forum and unfortunately for us, you will not be the last. God advises us that we will be persecuted by the likes of you.

            2 Timothy 3:12

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Thank you for proving that God is right, yet again!

              Mrs Phebe Dewitt.
              C. Mongler, please.

here's something interesting describing your action(s). It's about Christian trolls.

              1. They show up feigning innocence.
It always starts innocuously enough. A Christian shows up one day, in chat or posting on the board somewhere, with a short intro and a friendly word about who they are and why they're visiting. They'll describe themselves using phrases which suggest good will or friendliness, or which claim that they don't really have any sort of religious agenda. They'll say they aren't like other Christians, or that they have an "open mind", or that they're "not religious". They'll say that they "just want to ask questions" or "just want to share [their] beliefs" or are "just interested in some friendly dialogue".

              2. They spout a bunch of crap.
As the thread or discussion unfolds, the visiting Christian will explain what they believe. Unfortunately, all too often it turns out to be poorly-researched, ill-supported stuff full of soundbites, slogans, and a very shallow understanding of the Bible and Christian theology. It becomes very clear very quickly that they don't know very much about the Bible or the history of Christianity at all, or that they have a very poor understanding of science. They'll think that evolution is "just a theory", or that the Bible is inerrant, or that the Bible they read today was put together 2000 years ago in much the same form it's in today, or that all mythologies and religions are just echoes of Christianity, or what have you.

              3. We challenge their crap.
Presenting one's religious convictions to a room full of skeptics is like waving a piece of raw meat in front of a den of hungry lions. Being a forum full of skeptics, challenging people's religious assertions is just what we do. As a collective we can't just sit there and let someone's crap theology define us, the world, reality, life, the universe, and everything. So we examine visitors' religious beliefs with vigor. Where we find flaws or problems, we bring them up and call the Christian out on them. Faulty logic, unsubstantiated claims, you name it - we don't tolerate it. Some of us are kinder about it than others, but regardless, this is the point at which we send the Christian through the gauntlet.

              4. They put up with it for awhile...
Even the trollish types will usually hang around for a page or two or ten, patiently trying to answer questions in what amounts to a pigpile on the Christian. This is where the real test lies: if a believer is worth their salt, and actually a solid debater, they'll tend to stick around, answer well, and earn our respect. If not, though - we'll know it pretty quick.

              5. ...but eventually feel threatened.
And really, who wouldn't? To have a chorus of nonbelievers performing a verbal vivisection on your most preciously held beliefs is a harrowing experience. Most of our visitors can't handle it, even if they might claim that their faith is strong enough to bear them up. And most of them are subject to a very, very human foible: people as a whole tend to take a challenge to their beliefs as an attack on themselves. Beliefs are, after all, very personal and cherished things; they form a part of someone's identity and shape the way they think about themselves and the way they look at the world.

Moreover, for Christians who believe that an eternity in hellfire awaits them if they abandon their faith, any threat to their beliefs is a threat to their salvation - and is perhaps experienced as a threat to their very lives. It's no surprise to see flickers of fear in a troll's post right before they switch over to Step 6:

              6. They go on the defensive.
Perceiving a threat or an attack, the walls go up. At this point they'll often start backpedaling, or turning their previous arguments back on us, instead of listening and actually responding to what we're saying. More logical fallacies come out. They'll drag out classics like "Hitler was an atheist and killed millions, therefore atheists are bad" arguments, or maybe resort to "you're just acting like typical atheists, I'd expected so much better".

Some of them will start whining and pouting about how mean we are and wondering how we can be so cruel to them, a poor widdle innocent Christian just trying to understaaaaaand us. Others will fall back on "I don't have to justify my beliefs" or "spiritual things don't require evidence". Anything to avoid actually answering whatever points we've been raising.

              7. We call them on it and lose patience.
It's rarely lost on us that they're not actually answering a damn thing. The more determined among us will insist that the visiting Christian stop baiting people and actually address the points we're trying to make; the more frustrated among us will take the gloves off and read them the riot act; the more mischievous among us will mock them. Collectively, we know well by this point that they really don't have anything to offer us at all; if they did, they would have done so already.

              8. They go on the offensive.
At some point the names and labels come out, or else some sort of backhanded, passive-aggressive kind of slap in the face. Some will be direct about it, perhaps calling us "pathetic" or "sad" or "selfish". Others are a bit more subtle, and go the "wellll, you'd better turn to god or else you'll suffer the eternal consequences" route. Threats of hellfire are common at this stage. From this point on they'll also tend to blame us for their own behavior, never quite realizing that THEY are the one who wandered into OUR space and started stirring shit up.

              9. They tell us to go to hell.
There are quite a few ways Christian trolls will do this. A common way is to give us the "well you've apparently all made your choice not to believe in god; have a fun time in hell" line. A more recent quasi-Christian/NewAge/hippy dippy believer told us all that we were poisoning ourselves with a lot of "negative self-talk" and that we all needed therapy. Probably what they really want to say is Go fuck yourselves, you unbelieving waste-of-space motherfuckers, but if they say that then it blows their Loving Christian(tm) image.

              10. They leave in a huff.
When they get fed up enough, they eventually flounce off in a tizzy. Usually there's some parting shot that goes along with it, some pissy little juvenile remark they just have to hurl at us in order to get the last word in. Sometimes it's "I'll pray for you." Sometimes it's something more like "Jesus told me you'd persecute me for my beliefs; thanks for proving the Bible is right!"

It's absolutely fascinating to me how often this same set of steps is followed. It isn't as if there's a word-for-word script or anything, just that these stages are so recognizable and so predictable in a general sense. Though I don't want to broad-brush every Christian visitor my favorite forum gets, it does nonetheless make me wonder if there's a certain type of Christian that's more likely to wander our way.

And it makes me wonder what they're thinking. Why do they show up at all? Are they aware that they're going to get eaten alive? Are they looking for potential converts? Are they curious about us in the same way that people are curious about circus freaks? Are they looking to earn points with god somehow, or their church, or other Christians? Are they looking for people to preach at?
I have become quite profound from your previous statement, so much that it has become quite humorous how abnormal the said statement is.

I'm afraid not, friend. I believe it's a reference to how much he likes to perform fellatio.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Considering this IS a Christian Forum and you have waltzed in here with insult after insult, only to back it up with a smarmy and insincere introduction, the majority of those points relate you to, rather than myself or any of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Re: Hello, have a nice day

Let's look at your list, shall we?

                      1. They show up feigning innocence.
We showed up where exactly? This is the Landover Baptist Forums, not your gaming forum or whatever. This site is (supposed to be) for the worship and sharing of Christs Word.

                      2. They spout a bunch of crap.
Our board, we can pretty much discuss whatever we want. Tell me do you go to baking sites and tell them they shouldn't be discussing baking? Dog sites and tell them they should be discussing cats? Yet you consider us the trolls?

                      3. We challenge their crap.
Yeah, you "challenge" it. I have not seen one logical word typed by you. All you've done is proven how stupid atheists really are.

                      4. They put up with it for awhile...
I will admit that the admins of this board suffer fools a lot longer than I ever would.

                      5. ...but eventually feel threatened.
We don't get threatened, we just get sick of your shit.

                      6. They go on the defensive.
Gee, I wonder why. Why would somebody who feels threatened go on the defensive? Why would that happen? No we're just supposed to happily let you ram us up the backside repeatedly. After all, it's what you're into.

                      7. We call them on it and lose patience.
So getting tired of listening to the same crap day in and day out is bad? Face it, we answer your questions (not that you've actually asked any) but if atheists don't like the answer, they just start another thread asking the same thing. Argument ad nauseum is not a valid argument.

                      8. They go on the offensive.
Imagine that, we get tired of your crap and decide to shake you by the scruff like the obnoxious rats that you are.

                      9. They tell us to go to hell.
Telling you to go to hell and telling you you're on a one way path to hell are two different things.

                      10. They leave in a huff.
So you're expecting us to close up shop because you came on our board? Face it, it just isn't going to happen.
