To introduce myself

I have always considered myself to be a good Christain women attending as church as often as I can and following the bible with the utmost care. Now I am only three months from my wedding and it has dawned on me that I do not fell completely prepared to be a mother or wife (although I greatly want to be both things) so I decided to join this forum in the hopes that I could better learn how to be a better wife, a better mother and most importantly a better Christian.

Hi whatareyouonabout, I've always believed that when a person is not ready to take any big steps, it's best that they don't, and it's good that you realize that your not ready, so don't do it. But you need to remember that, being a good mother is something that takes most women a long time, but then, those are the ones without good guildance, but I'm sure that with good guildance you'll be a great mother some day soon, I'm happy that you are searching for answers, there are some good women on this forum, and I'm sure that they will be glad to help you.

What does your father say about all this? Do you have his permission to be here? How old are you?

My father knows about all this and encorages it. Both my father and my future husband have given me permission to be here. And im 22

22? Didn't you help your mother with the cooking and cleaning? Basically obey your husband and don't question him. Cook like Jesus was going to sit down at your table. Clean as if Jesus was about to walk through your door.

yes I did and still do help my mother with cooking and cleaning and although I love her greatly i must admit neither her or I are brilliant cooks or cleaners, and so i'm anxious to learn all I can to please my husband.
Any other advice you could give me will always be much appreciated.

I didn't choose the name "kiwi harlot". I originally joined under the name "whatareyouonabout?" I assume the change was made by a moderator and because I am from New Zealand. but I do not understand why I am labelled a harlot?

Just follow God's Word, which sadly is better understood by foreign heathen women than femininazis.

Remember to seperate yourself from your Husband during your uncleanliness:

Leviticus 15:19
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even

And remember that you must never be angry at your husbond or in general.

Proverbs 21:19
It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman
