i can assure you i signed up when i was 16 and 9 months which is the youngest age you can be. I was in the Scots Guards and based in London

there are only 5 guards regiments
Grenadeer, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh

Someone else who knows their regiments. I didnt have to research it was drilled into us during Phase 2 training, everything from the regiment forming in 1642 right up to 2nd battalion taking Mount tumbledown in the falklands with nothing more than their bayonets due to giving all their ammunition to the heavy gunners.

Just sharing this to hopefully prove i am not a liar
