I am glad I found this forum. After the elections, I have become even more convinced that that Muslim is going to bring about the 2nd coming soon! I think the only reason the Republicans didn't gain the Senate too is that the Darkies and the Sand Ninjas showed up at the polls. Didn't see any Panthers this time out though. It would have been interesting if they were kept in line the last election what the end results woulda been.

Anyway, I am a Southern Baptist, strong in Christ, and places like this are the only thing that keeps me sane. I can't even talk about queers and sand brothas in the office anymore for fear of being fired!

If it weren't for places like this, the thought police would be everywhere. They're even on Facebook now!


I'm married, four children, work in a coal mine. I am also a Deacon at the local church, my true calling. I wish from time to time that God had chosen me to lead a part of his true flock.

My favorite bible verse is 1 Maccabees 2:22. I found the Lord when I was five and I was saved. Praise God for that!

Oh I agree, Jesus did help the Godly Republicans win back many seats this time. I am how ever a bit concerned about your Darkie comment. I must tell you that we do not condone racism. We have many Ex- Nigras in our congregation.

My church recognizes the apocrypha as having historical value, although they are taken with a grain of salt.

I'm not a racist. I just hate liberals and thugs that vote Democrat about 98% of the time. Don't they get that they are modern-day nazis that are out to banish the Bible and the 10 Commandments in favor of evolution and secuarism?

Those stupid hippies have even struck down a bill to teach intelligent design and to edit the pledge of allegiance in our schools!

So tell me friend, what is your favorite Biblical scripture? How about your take on the book of Judges? What role do you think the Deuterocanonical books should play in teaching people about God?

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that Maccabees wasn't accepted here! I'll happily give you another verse, from the New Testament: Mark 11:12-14

I only assumed the apocrypha was accepted here because your official bible here is the 1611 KJV. I assure you they are in there (in a secondary section, of course)!

They're not considered the inspired word of God, but some of them, at least Maccabees, are important for Christians to be familiar with. After all Hannukah is because of Judas Maccabeus. So, even if the Jews don't have the Apocrypha in their Old Testament, they celebrate a holiday based on what happened in it!

I've read the Gospel of Thomas and some of those other rejected works. Even though they aren't considered inspired, there is a lot of neat stuff in them about Jesus!

Do you have the apocrypha in your Bible? I don't know why it is such a big deal, as long as they are in a separate section, like KJV.

Pal, why don't you just come out and admit that you're a filthy mary worshiping papist. No Baptist would ever claim to be Saved at the age of 5. A 5 year old child can't discern Jesus' Plan for our Salvation, and thus wouldn't qualify. Only papist scum adheres to the blasphemous doctrine of infant Salvation.

No it's a toddler, and I have yet to meet a 5 year old who is capable of understanding Jesus. 7 is the earliest I've heard of, and if they're raised True Christian(TM) and not ready by 13, I think it's time to give up and ship them off so they don't infect the other children.

It took a trip through the Landover Hell House to convince my 9-year-old that salvation was serious business.

I don't know. Maybe y'all's bulbs are a bit dimmer in Iowa than where I'm from.

I was saved when I was five. I've heard about kids as young as two or three being saved, but that is just silly. You can barely even talk and walk at that age.
