  • Hey there!

    Hey there, LBC!

I'm Ken Johnson. I play a game called, "Minecraft." It's a harmless, heavily pixelated game that runs on slower than normal computers! Which is mainly why I play it.

I am a christian, but not a baptist, so my religious views are a little different (I guess.)

I am 16 years old, and I go to a small, brand-new church. Established in 2008, we have around 20 church members.

I have to say, I'm not extremely involved with god. Besides with going to church and saying my prayers at night, I don't have other interactions with god.

I found this website from a post on minecraft's community forums, talking about how you guys are so crazy, calling this game a bunch of non-sense names. I disagree that minecraft is bad, but I don't want to fight anymore. It's a video game, not a big deal. Anyway, I fought with you guys for awhile, but I'm starting to realize your viewpoints.

Sorry for all the mishaps, hopefully it all goes overhead!

    -Ken Johnson.

    Welcome to our friendly forum!

Jesus must have a reason for guiding you to God's favorite forum. Finding this forum could be the turning point in your life. Changing you from a Minecraft playing sinner into a God fearing man! Step one would be to remove Minecraft from your computer. To be on the safe side, just throw the computer in the thrash.

Deleted minecraft from my computer! Thanks for the idea

Was thinking about buying a new computer anyway, so heck with it, I'll throw this one out the window!

        Welcome young Kenneth!

Praise Jesus for leading you out of your cozy nest of foul sin! Many here can relate to the strength it takes, but cold turkey is always best. I left the wicked Harold Porter in the Castro district over twenty years ago and have never looked back. Praise God!

        In Christ!

          Hi, Ken!

Are all people who play Minecraft liars, or are you special?

You see, when you registered for this forum, you had to state that you are 18 years of age or older. Since we discuss the Bible here, which contains many references to sex, genocide, and violence, we generally limit discussions to adults for liability purposes.

Now, you say you are 16.

So, which is it? You can't be 16 AND 18.

What does God think about liars, Ken?
          Bible boring? Nonsense!

            Re: Hey there!

There are youngsters that play minecraft, and adults that play minecraft, it varies.

Personally, I know I can take the fact of seeing posts about sex, violence, etc, so I joined.

To answer your last question, all I know is that he doesn't allow it. Since I don't know much information about it, I'm going to surf the internet.

Here's what I came up with:

Lying is a mark of an unfaithful person.

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal faithfully are His delight (Prov. 12:22)

A righteous man hates falsehood, but a wicked man acts disgustingly and shamefully (Prov. 13:5)

                  Re: Hey there!

                  @Pastor Ezekiel

I am a 16 year old male. My full name is Kendall David Johnson. I will NOT be called Kendall, I only go by Ken. I play varsity hockey for my high school team. I attend Gaylord Highschool, a public school in northern michigan, usa. I spend lots of time exercising and keeping in shape.

About my church. I don't really know how to explain it because it's the only church I've ever gone to in my whole lifetime. The best I can explain it is a normal christian church. Here's what the website has to say about the church:

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and sovereign power, God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.

We believe that God has spoken in the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, through the words of human authors. As the verbally inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority by which every realm of human knowledge and endeavor should be judged. Therefore, it is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.

We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned when tempted by Satan. In union with Adam, human beings are sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God, and under His wrath. Only through God’s saving work in Jesus Christ can we be rescued, reconciled, and renewed.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. Jesus – Israel’s promised Messiah – was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.

We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, and equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.

We believe that the true church composes all who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the head. The true church is manifest in local churches, whose membership should be composed only of believers. The Lord Jesus mandated two ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which visibly and tangibly express the gospel. Though they are not the means of salvation, when celebrated by the Church in genuine faith, these ordinances confirm and nourish the believer.

We believe that God’s justifying grace must not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. God commands us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion toward the poor and justice for the oppressed. With God’s Word, the Spirit’s power, and fervent prayer in Christ’s name, we are to combat the spiritual forces of evil. In obedience to Christ’s commission, we are to make disciples among all people, always bearing witness to the gospel in word and deed.

We believe in the personal, bodily, and pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Christ, at a time known only to God, demands constant expectancy and as our blessed hope, motivates the believer to godly living, sacrificial service, and energetic mission.

We believe that God commands everyone everywhere to believe the gospel by turning to Him in repentance and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that God will raise the dead bodily and judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to condemnation and eternal conscious punishment and the believer to eternal blessedness and joy with the Lord in the new heaven and the new earth, to the praise of His glorious grace. Amen.

                    Re: Hey there!

How wonderful! Your church has a website! What's the address?

There are many churches that claim to subscribe to the EFCA's Statement of Faith, but then ignore the bulk of the Bible anyway . . . so I'm afraid that a 20-person church choosing the EFCA's statement to add to its site doesn't mean much without something to back it up.

Obviously not much of a beating if he makes a username of "minecraft" which is banned here.
