      I really don't want to derail this lady's introduction thread any more than we already have, but I will reply to this one last post.

      Positive energy is anything you need it to be! It comes in the form of love, the kindness of a stranger. A warm sunny day that makes you happy to be alive. All these things are forms of positive energy. The happiness you get from doing something you enjoy that doesn't harm others - that's positive energy!

      And don't you agree that there are many things in this world that we need to be saved from? There is so much killing and hate and greed today. I have been saved from all those hurtful things. This has made me a better person as I now treat all people with the respect they deserve.

      I hope this post has helped you get to know me better. I look forward to getting to know you better as well.

        You don't understand the totality of Christianity's Salvation. I don't need to maintain a balance of "positive energy" to preserve my Salvation! I am Saved, once and for all.

        Besides, who cares about earthly hurts when faced with eternal damnation? Are you that short-sighted?

          "Anything you need it to be" is in direct contradiction to our faith.

          The One and True Holy Bible(tm) lays out very specific expectations, lessons and choices for us.


          Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

          Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

          What does this mean? It means we don't just "make stuff up."

          We are not allowed loose translations. Things are not "anything [we] need it to be."

          And we praise GOD(tm) for this golden clarity. How else could we live good True Christian(tm) lives?
