    Genesis

And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and ... offer him there for a burnt offering. -- 22:2
And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. -- 22:10
And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him. -- 38:7
And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also. -- 38:10

    Exodus

If thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.--4:23
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast.--12:12
At midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.--12:29
The LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast.--13:15
The LORD is a man of war.--15:3
He that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.--21:15
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.--22:18
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.--Ex22.20:
And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.--22:24
Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. -- 29:20
Ye shall keep the sabbath ... every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death.--31:14
Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side ... and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.--32:27
And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.--32:35

Don't make me go through the rest of the Bible, I will if you want me to though, I hate false Christians who pick and choose what to believe in.
37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38This is the first and great commandment.
39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

    14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I take my response to your vacuous post by quoting from Pastor Al's address to an idiot:
Satan is the evil that GOD made. Of the 31101 verses of Scripture, less than 200 of them do not deal with extreme violence. God is a violent God. But in church you were only told about those 200 verses of a loving God. That isn't true. Jesus is returning for one reason only and it is written clearly in every Bible. It is to start Armageddon and kill everyone on earth. This will happen after the four horsemen of the Apocalypse rain down horror and destruction. That is the Biblical God. But if you tell people that they don't care to support your church. They want God to be what they imagine Him to be.

Could you please live in the real world and accept God's Word when He says,

    "
2 Chron. 15:13: That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

All the hallmarks of a liberal Christian demon, the absolute worst kind. He isn't even using the KJV 1611!

    introduction

"Light has come into the world"

    "God is love"

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

"This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

    "Salvation is of the LORD"

"The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."

    "Love your neighbour as yourself"

    "Jesus is Lord"

    * * *

the above are some of the many amazingly powerful Scripture passages.

i'm not a perfect person and i have done many horrible things in the past. in particular, i was someone who was always so concerned about maintaining outward appearances, reputation and obtaining praise - while secretly doing rather unpleasant activities.

i personally went through an amazing experience, with so many experiences that changed my mind and turned my life around. i would like to share my story.

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us"

that is, i will try to highlight certain Scripture passages. people are free to guess what is my outward appearance.

baptist ? catholic? calvinist? eastern orthodox ? lutheran? messianic jew ? reformed ?

"The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
