First) sodomy is a not a specific word. What do you mean to? Heterosexuals have "sodomy" if you mean a certain act.

Second) If you mean homosexuality then yes, you are right. Laurence versus Texas ended the last of the laws that made being gay or lesbian or bisexual with another person illegal. So No Crime, No Time. If you are married to a woman Mr. Black you should be glad all those things aren't illegal anymore or else you would only have 1 thing to do with your wife.

Thirdly) That supreme decision of Lawrence even says in the judge who disagreed with it: "If moral disapprobation of homosexual conduct is "no legitimate state interest" for purposes of proscribing that conduct...what justification could there possibly be for denying the benefits of marriage to homosexual couples exercising "the liberty protected by the Constitution"? Surely not the encouragement of procreation, since the sterile and the elderly are allowed to marry." Again, look it up.

Yeah the supreme court could change like you say and switch back, but they could also by the same tokens switch back on the case about civil rights in Virginia and if you think thats going to happen I would not bet any money on it if I were you. That's my opinion only.

Nan, nobody here has tried to force you or your daughter to do anything.

Nobody here has argued what is or is not presently legal.

The court will most certainly protect us if we say what the Bible says. That's called FREEDOM OF RELIGION. First Amendment, Congress shall make no law infringing upon the free practice of religion. Even if YOU don't like it.

I fail to see why you keep returning to Supreme Court decisions, when they are wholly irrelevant to the discussion.

Here's the deal:

God's Word says that homosexuals are abominations and that He will cast them into His Lake of Fire for eternal torment.

The Supreme Court has no influence over God.

All your Supreme Court cases won't change that.

Now, Congress has been largely replaced with Tea Party Republicans in the 2010 election. They will be sworn in next month. They control the House, and are close to a majority in the Senate.

Obama, gutless liberal that he is, has been caving to Republicans continually since he got sworn in, back in 2009. He will accelerate that next year.

He will lose Democratic support (such as he still has). He may or may not lose a primary challenge.

He will lose the 2012 election to a Tea Party Christian Republican. Sarah Palin? Ron Paul? Who knows.

After the 2012 election, the House and Senate will both be majority-Republican. The economy will be improving, ensuring further gains in 2014 . . . supermajorities in both houses.

At this point, I expect certain aged liberal Supreme Court justices will retire. They will be replaced by Tea Party Christian Republican justices.

By 2015, Congress will pass legislation installing God's Law as the law of the land. The Supreme Court will find such legislation perfectly consistent with the Constitution.

Homosexual relations, sodomy (that is, oral and anal intercourse of any sort; the term is a well-defined word despite your baseless assertions), divorce, gay "marriage", working on the Sabbath, and any other number of sins will be outlawed. Biblical punishments (stoning, flogging) will be reinstated.

All non-Christian churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques will be destroyed. That includes Catholics, with their idols (illegal under God's Law).

Anyone proselytizing for a non-Christian religion (or a non-religion) will be executed, per God's Law.

Get it now? We know your daughter's God-hatred and perversions are presently legal. Within five years, they will be capital crimes.
